Walking Dead Renewed for Season 11
Spoiler tag added by me, of course, for those who aren't up to speed. TWD gets bashed like crazy, the ratings stink, and people want to see an ending on the horizon, but this show keeps on trucking. This show had huge drops in ratings in recent years, yet it always finishes as AMC's most-watched TV series by a considerable margin. Some suspect a decent chunk of TWD's ratings decline can be attributed to viewers who'll simply wait until they can binge the full season on Netflix.
However, even in this new era of decline, losing one-third of your audience over the space of a year — and about half your audience over the past three or four years — suggests some viewers simply aren't happy with where the show has gone creatively over the past couple of seasons. Unfortunately, for those who hate the show, it appears it ain't going anywhere anytime soon.
So on that note, let's get ready for Season 10...
