Topic: Harry's Law
Harry's Law
I'm not usually into lawyer shows (Shark was the last one I remember watching), but the pilot was really good. Oh, and Brittany Snow looked HOT as always. PS. Mods, plz add this to the site before next Monday, because I tend to forget about new shows on my watchlist.

Re: Harry's Law
Really? I had to turn it off after 20 minutes and this is coming from a big fan of The Practice and Boston Legal. (Ally McBeal as well, but only the first few seasons.) Dunno, somehow it all felt uninspired - I disliked Corddry's character (even though I liked him in Studio 60) and Harriet's voice over killed it for me. It was just bland and repetitive. What did you guys like so much about it? Maybe I am missing something ...

Re: Harry's Law
Well, for me it's mostly about the heart-warming feeling of this show and about strong cast that suits the roles they were given. So far I like all four characters on the show.

Re: Harry's Law
Kathy Bates makes it good enough for me to watch E02. Nate Corddry makes me want to drop it after the pilot. It's kinda like Hawaii Five-0, just another procedural (here: lawyer) show, but if someone wants to watch - fine by me. It's nothing like The Good Wife, which I prefer, like, 100%.

Re: Harry's Law
I'll keep it for Kathy Bates. Finally someone in a lead role, who doesn't look like a model from a cheap magazine or from a cover of a bad romantic book.

Reminds me of Boston Legal for its quirkyness

Re: Harry's Law
Still good. I hope they'll keep Tommy Jefferson's character, because he's bringing a lot of comedy to the show.

Yeah, Puck's reaction was the last thing I would expect.

So... What do you think? What do you think? How's the show with the changed cast? Is it good? Is it good?

Re: Harry's Law
Seeing Mark Valley will always make me weep tears in rememberence of Human Target. New theme sucks ass. Tommy Jefferson is a new, better Tommy Jefferson. Though that might now seem possible, it surely is. A Tommy Jefferson, of tomorrow! Brittany Snow (and Aml Ameen) are still in the show, but very briefly as recurring characters. The episode itself was ok, want more.

Re: Harry's Law
Great three episodes with a great mini story arc. Too bad, that the ratings are poor as hell.

Re: Harry's Law
NBC has ordered six additional scripts for the Kathy Bates' 'Harry's Law.' This brings the Season 2 episode total to 19.

NBC can always surprise you. I was almost sure that this thread was refreshed to inform about HL's cancellation.

It get's a lot of total viewers for NBC, so that's probably why.

Re: Harry's Law
I loved Harry's Law since the start, maybe living in Cincinnati helped that. But the new episodes are disappointing. The new upstairs crowded office is confusing. They should have stayed in the shoe store! Too many characters makes it a chore to follow who's who!

Re: Harry's Law
Watched the last four episodes in a row and I'll miss it. It wasn't a quality law series like "The Good Wife" but was highly enjoyable. I really liked how they took controversial themes of the law and ran with it. And the main crew, them I'll miss the most.
