The point is, execution is everything. FF = failed execution, Firefly = brilliant execution.
It makes me sad when great ideas are poorly executed...FF had potential...but never found it.

I have to agree with Rob, FF has a great concept and it did have a few good moments (eg:when the FBI guy committed suicide and we realized that the Flashes weren't guaranteed) but overall it was pretty boring and I never really grew to care about any of the characters
I doubt very much if it did come back if I would sit through another 24 episodes of it.
I don't see how they would be able to try and attract new viewers though. Firstly its Sci Fi so you only have so much of the viewing population that will give it a chance anyway, a number of those stopped watching half way through the first series (as the ratings did take a hit from what I understand) the characters and their relationships are established so coming into it new in series 2 would be confusing.
And as someone has already said, a lot of the actors have moved on by now . I don't think it will happen.
