Re: The Walking Dead PC/360/PS3 game
I just finished the DLC and it was good, but way too short, especially the first, second and fifth scenario. In Shel's scenario I also hoped I'd be presented with a chance to ▼Spoiler kill Roman and stop his dictatorship before he turns into mini-Governor

In other news, The Wolf Among Us Ep1 was great. It's like playing the R-rated version of Grimm.

Re: The Walking Dead PC/360/PS3 game
Yeah, and now they've picked up two other projects (GoT and Borderlands)... how in hell will they manage to maintain four projects at the same time? I may be wrong, but TT seems like a small studio and even if they have money to hire more people it's always tough to find the best candidates.

Re: The Walking Dead PC/360/PS3 game
I guess it's like Inxile, when they did a Kickstarter for Torment even when Wasteland 2 wasn't near the premiere - they have developer teams for different stages of production, concept, writing, art, sound etc...

Yes, that part was horrific. I needed to take a quick brake after that.

Re: The Walking Dead PC/360/PS3 game
So just finished s01e01. It so delivered the way I expected to. Tough decisions that need to be made in tough spots. And the element of trust/mistrust. Also e02 seems to be about starvation, one thing that I think the TV-show never really focused on. I agree with everyone who thinks this game is what the TV-show should have been.

Re: The Walking Dead PC/360/PS3 game
This is not about the horror, it's about the drama and survival. But that being said I whole heartedly agree with you that zombies are way overused in games/movies/TV these days. Zombiesurvival FPS seems to be a hip genre at the moment. No More Room in Hell, Contagion, Rust, 7 Days to Die... Even still, I have to admit that I'm really enjoying NMRiH and contagion, should be a real blast at a LAN-party.

Everyone should have another username on the forum for drunk rants... DrunkDaemonius would have 0 posts...
...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?
Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

▼Spoiler I ended up choosing to kill Steph, in the hopes I'd still get the option to kill Romen. Almost stopped playing and deleted everything when I couldn't, but meh, the DLC was short and boring anyway. Like, 30min max of gameplay, with almost zero choices.

Re: The Walking Dead PC/360/PS3 game
So 4 episodes down and up to this episode my decisions have been usually the most popular ones. Except for this episode: ▼Spoiler I left Clementine in the house with a gun and I let that no good Ben fall to his death. The group I was left with was ▼Spoiler just me, Omid and Christa. The second I got the chance to tell Kenny to fuck off I took it. Guy's been a pussy ever since the beginning and doing decisions for himself. I know you guys recommended an episode per evening but I just can't! If I don't play, I don't have to make these hard decisions and my characters get to live longer right? Jesus man I seriously cannot deal with episode 5 tonight, have to leave it for tomorrow. I seriously need some feel good material right now...

Re: The Walking Dead PC/360/PS3 game
So I started season 2, I was a bit wary first about playing with Clementine. And I still don't like it. I feel like the group puts her in situations where no normal person would put a little girl. I know it's supposed to describe how hard it is to live in a world like that but I think any normal person would rather check a house for zombies by them selves and not let a little girl do it alone when there are adult men around. Also the group talks to Clementine like a grown up and then get their feelings hurt when a kid cannot handle situations like an adult. Spoils episode 2 so I'll put it in spoiler tags: ▼Spoiler If there was a way to betray the group to Kenny and friends I would have done it in a heartbeat. Also the habbit of killing of the nicest guys in this series is getting a bit too predictable. Who didn't see the death of that teacher coming a mile away? If 3rd season will still have Clementine as the main playable character I might have to consider dropping this series. Which is kinda sad considering how much I loved season 1.
