I can't understand either. There are so many stupid, boring shows out there - but they get renewed every season :-(
And there are shows which are supposed to be a one season flick - like Prison Break - and get a creepy ending just to be continued - WHY?
I have a feeling that it has to do with the daily talk-show viewers

I just don't get how shows like "Criminal Minds" get a news season and _great_ shows like this get canceled :-(

not to forget "the bold and the beautiful" - how can a show like that be renewed year after year after year???
So now we just have to gues what happens in Invasion? - dammm, that was an exciting last episode!!!

I cant find anything on ABC homepage that supports that the show is being canceled:

I also heard a rumor that they are canceling Surface, anyone confirm that?
