Re: The Cape
too bad, i thought it had potential. at least they could have done a proper ending
Re: The Cape
I still wasn't sure if I like it or not after 4 eps, the fifth killed everything.
I mean, the circus subplot thing was cute but of all the safe ways the guy could've gone on that rope between the 2 buildings, he chose FUNAMBULISM???
I mean... c'mon...
They lost me for good there.
Pete : Well... you... you told me to investigate ok ? So... she's unarmed.

Re: The Cape
ah someone is still watching it, do they continue to defy logic and go with ever cliche possible?
Re: The Cape
i actually liked this latest episode. best of them all so far.
Re: The Cape
It's perfectly normal that you like crappy things.
and hate quality stuff?

Why?? The mom is hot...
They should send the kid to boarding school or something like that....
I hate it, because nothing changed here since the beginning of the series... kid's sad and mom cries all the time. And this is it. They could have a reunion, but it would be more unexpected if Cape's family would die. And maybe then he'll have a chance to hook up with Orwell.
Re: The Cape
Chess is such a non-threatening pansy of a villain it's ridiculous. I keep watching this show hoping it gets better, but they'd have to get rid of that guy and get a better villain for another season.
Re: The Cape
It would be much better if mom remaried ... much crueler ... the kid growing up to be a troublemaker and vigilante wannabe, all backfiring like in the original Spawn series, but to an innocent.
But they didn't think that, so the shows sucks and gets cancelled!
BTW when is that stupid cop gonna realise Orwell is Chess's daugther for crying out loud?

Re: The Cape
ok now this is ridiculous.
i know this is after comic books, but this really really angries me.
you live with someone for 10 years and you don't recognize him with his tiny eye mask on?
seriously?
Re: The Cape
it's the Clark Kent glasses syndrome, I know it's ridiculous.
I think he could have atleast altered his voice like he did in first few eps. when talked with his son, it seemed liked he was just speaking in his normal voice this last ep.

Re: The Cape
What a fracking disaster. Who's the idiot who though that the "Clark Kent glasses syndrome" can also work in this series? Thankfully it wasn't a total waste of 40 minutes of my life, because Summer always look extra sexy in wedding dresses. I'm glad there are only two episodes left, because I probably wouldn't stand watching more.
Re: The Cape
Yeah Summer keeps me coming back for more.
Re: The Cape
I don't know if you guys heard but NBC won't even air the series finale. It will instead be available only online. Strange decision if you ask me, especially since 1.2 isn't horribly bad....
As for last Monday's ninth episode, the show is still an utter crap, but at least Summer resumed playing the roles she's best suited for and that is slightly odd and mysterious women which almost never smile.

Re: The Cape
Last episode is out (also in 720p) if anyone's interested...
Edit: OK, seen the 10th episode. It was bad, mostly because the Clark Kent syndrome has struck again. And of course it ended without a satisfying finale... just as any other episode during the season would.
Probably the best scene in the finale \/
