Nobody can be disappointed after watching Buffy but you'll hate that it's over once you're done : that much I can promise! On the subject of comparisons, Buffy, Angel & Moonlight all have different tones so you may be driven towards one in particular...
At first, I found that Moonlight paled compared to the Buffy/Angelverse and its mythology but the way they have developped the storyline and the characters got me hooked;
IMO, the two things which make it a bit less attractive than Angel is the lack of whedon's touch and the Mick character who's a little too perfect ( obviously because it's more of a show for womenfolk and we all know they like their run-of-the-mill tortured and soulful century-old reformed cool vampire hero.)

episode 12 was always going to be the season end...

aye... i've got everything crossable crossed...

personally for me, the obvious cute factor on both sides of the fence aside, i love that they are twisting conventions on the whole vampire mythology thing, the tension between Mick and Beth is a timeless storytelling device, yet it seems fresh and interesting, and although some of the 'episode of the week' moments have been the shows weaker points it still keeps you glued to the screen. hopefully season 2 [yes, i'm that confident ] will go a bit deeper into Mick, Caroline and [especially] Josef's pasts... [though my one complaint about Angel was that the 'flashbacks' always had me wanting to hit the fwd button, let's hope they take a different tact here]

So.... It is on it's last episode in 2 days *sob* what about the next 4 episodes that is supposedly ordered or to be aired. Are they already written and when are they going to be on?

nope the scripts are not written. and originally 13 episodes have been ordered by the network. also there's no official statement about a season 2 yet. though we can be very certain about that.

i am very curious about the last episode though, because it was written in 2 days before the strike started. and every writer on the show wrote a part of it so it got finished in time.  .... crazy huh?

so we can assume that the first episode being a double counts as 2, yeah? so the seasons end is still #12, and we're not being sold short on the finale...

and let's not talk about grey hairs... thankfully i've always had multicoloured hair in one respect or another... these days it's just hiding the grey

eeep... for some reason i thunked the first ep was a double length one... was it because it was that entertaining it seemed so, or am i just off to the dunces corner?

oh, you'd be surprised, amazed even, at some of the things i have thunked

Is there anyone here that can upload moonlight for me? It is killing me waiting for it to be available on torrent
