Re: 6x12 - Like A Virgin
Agreed... that was hilarious...
And I think I'm going to like the new bad guy.... "Mother".. it just has a scary ring to it, doesn't it?
Re: 6x12 - Like A Virgin
Why do they always have to hire young pretty inexperienced actresses to play these bad guys though - they just don't have the acting chops to make them believable or in any way scary. They shouldn't be so afraid of hiring an actress with more experience even if she has a wrinkle or two - they'll probably find they get a better character out of it.

So you dont want them giving new actress a go? How is anyone supposed to break into the business if they only ever hire "old" talent.
I like that for such a successful show they dont need the whole popular guest star to attract attention, plus using existing stars brings typecasting and expectations for that. Imagine they used Angelina Jolie...I dont care how good a performance she put in, it would be Angelina standing there, not "Mother"
Hate to say it KB but I think you are wrong on this one. I have no idea how well she will pan out but give the girl a go, she's only had like 3 lines of dialogue so far.
Re: 6x12 - Like A Virgin
I agree with KB on this one. I don't think the girl can pull off The Mother of All coming straight from purgatory.
And what a strange way to introduce a mother which is made out of a virgin. Am I the only one who has problems with this one - besides the dragon and Excalibur jokes? SN is feeling weird.
At least we have the old Sam back

Re: 6x12 - Like A Virgin
I liked everything except for the ending. I'm not buying the entire concept of the 'Mother' so far and in my humble opinion Lilith from previous seasons was a much more interesting female antagonist. I plan on staying with the show nonetheless, especially since the first episode featuring old-new-old Sam was one of the most enjoyable ones this season.
Re: 6x12 - Like A Virgin
I liked no soul Sam, I didn't care for the story going on when he was in them but I did like the character just think they went the wrong way with him.
As for the actress playing 'Mother' I don't have any problems with it being a young unknown female. Haven't seen enough of her to really have an opinion either way.
