Re: The Cape

Re: The Cape
looks interesting
Re: The Cape
I went ahead and watched the pilot a day early on the iPad app.
Had it's weaknesses - the dialog is mostly poorly written, almost all of the characters are bland (probably because the pilot seems like it's trying to fit too much into the space it has), and the plotline seems a little cliche, but overall worth watching, and the action was at least good.
Re: The Cape
I was fun. A bit on the obvious side for some of the resolutions. Nice villain though. The show has room to improve, but is sufficiently good that I believe it will get its chance to do it.Plus, Summer Glau.
Re: The Cape
Seemed a lot like Watchmen wannabe. Not too shabbily done though. Will try to follow.

Re: The Cape
The Cape premiered to a 2.6 rating and averaged 8.4 million viewers between 9-11p. which by NBC standards seems decent enough. The bad news is ratings typically erode after heavily promoted premieres. But the good news is The Cape was very stable over the 2 hours with the first half hour getting a 2.5 rating and each of the last three half hours a 2.6.

Re: The Cape
Im disapointed. the biggest let-down was to me, how they jammed a whole season into a 2 hour speical pilot. i mean in 20 minutes he lost his job, got set up, met a gang of circus freaks, learned how to be a hero, and meet his nemisis?
Seems to me the producers are too eager to get the ball rolling, so to speak.
Re: The Cape
ahh okay thanks hadn`t seen that
well i liked the first two episodes but i have to admit that i liked summer glau more when she was a killerrobot..... perhapse the only woman in the world which looks better when shes not smiling
anyway i hope they don`t focus only on the cape dude i think the other characters have a lot of potential
Re: The Cape
i liked it, think it has some great potential
