I loved this show , but now because i'm watching Friends ( atm S0908) i can't stop compare them and Friends wins... Himym s05 was not so good but Friends is still awesome on the 9th ...

HiMYM is not often laugh out funny but it's a nice show with charming characters and pleasant to watch.
And this season is not bad at all. Friends was better imo too tho and not without reason the most successfull comedy/show for 9-10 years.

I used to love this show but HIMYM havent been good in a long time now. Barney have some good moments still but the rest is just crap

HIMYM is still a great series with many fresh ideas. Of course it feels repetitive when characters do what character do. They can't change them too much. But storywise I find it still highly entertaining. It's on the top of my watchlist

Yeah, it always makes me think that if I was Ted Mosby's son I would go homicidal on him for being such an asshole.

I think it'd be better if they went back to the initial premise. Ted hasn't had a decent romance in ages and he's lost his whole desperate side that made for great punchlines. He's so pathetic now that the punchlines directed at him seem more mean than funny. -Rob

Smallville didn't end when almost the whole action was in Metropolis... I guess Ted can meet the Mother and then i don't know be with her for a couple of seasons and then marry her...

I think what some people don't like is that they try to mature the characters a bit with the timeline. Theres no crazy parties where pineapples appear in the morning or goats for that matter. I like the show still and will continue watching and I hope they'll end it as planned.
