Topic: 6x04 - Weekend at Bobby's

This episode was the last of the transformation from old Supernatural to new Supernatural I guess. All things are reset.

We now know that Bobby is ok and how he all did the things he does smile He was way to few times featured in the last 5 seasons.

Sam is new and improved - character wise - and Dean is pretty much the same old hunter again. I'm not sure if we see the whole Angel anarchy themed up this season, but I wouldn't wonder if they take it slow,

So way to go for a new season 6 after the big story arc ended.

Re: 6x04 - Weekend at Bobby's

I disagree completely.  What is happening here, at least, what I think is happening here, is we're setting up a whole situation to deal with Sam.  I don't think Sam is even slightly who he was.  The concept of ghost becoming demon, and Bobby redeeming himself through blackmail is going to become a whole new thing.  I think we're going to find out some very ugly things about Sam.  It was foreshadowed in a very obtuse way through his situation with the hooker.  I don't believe this was getting the story back to ground zero at all.  I think we're going to see one or two humorous filler episodes and then some very serious shit going down with Sam.  Just my two cents.  Maybe three.

Zoë:   Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killin'?
Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.
