Topic: The Inbetweeners
The Inbetweeners
This British comedy focuses around four Sixth Form students dealing with issues facing today's youth. We have Will, a normal guy who left a private school to go to Rudge Park Comprehensive due to his recently divorced mother's financial troubles, Jay who is obsessed with sex, with almost all his comments being about the subject, Simon is also normal but has a trouble with expressing his feelings (hyhy) and Neil, who probably is a retard. It's a great british sitcom, I lol'ed a lot of times. It's only 12 episodes (~25 minutes) so go for it!

Re: The Inbetweeners
Misfits is more of a drama with a little bit of comedy, Inbetweeners is a comedy

i dont know the show, i'm asking you and from ur description: 4 guys, students, one is obsesed with sex (like Howard Wolowitz), one has trouble with expressing his feelings (like Raj Koothrappali), one who is probably a retard (ok sheldon is a genious but acts like a retard in social aspects) and Will, a normal guy whos mother has financial troubles (ok Penny isn't Leonard's mother but she has financial troubles most of the time too) so yeah it reminded me a bit of big bang theory.

Re: The Inbetweeners
Ok, but no. It's not even close to TBBT (which doesn't mean it's not great).

Re: The Inbetweeners
Just out of curiosity, I was wondering how easy it is for American's to pick up on the british humor of this show. Also there is a lot of british slang used, do you find the dialogue hard to follow at all? I love the show myself and spent most of my time laughing my ass off while watching it.

Re: The Inbetweeners
Anyone seen the US version of this yet? I saw it yesterday, and while they've largely copied it word-for-word, scene-by-scene, it has lost something in the translation somehow. I think the UK one is aimed at adults, this one seems aims at the late teens. It didn't do it for me anyway, I think MTV have killed it.

Re: The Inbetweeners
I just started watching this show and I'm dying from laughter after seeing only two episodes. So there's 3 seasons and 2 movies, correct?
