unfortunately at that time our movie theatres had not installed 3D thingies. and the closest one was 180km away. it would have been so so expensive then.

Just watched a marathon of undisputed. Now i can truly say there's a series that's getting better with each sequel. Truly awesome fight movie franchise.

Re: Some movies I have recently watched

Watched "The American" that was hyped and almost felt asleep. The movie is well made and shot and George Clooney is great, but the story could've been told in 15 minutes - yawn wink

Re: Some movies I have recently watched

Leaves of Grass - Edward Norton and Edward Norton star as two brothers, that are quite the opposite. One is a philosophy proffesor and the second one is a pothead-readneck. Quite a good comedy.

Trainspotting - thrilling drama, with my beloved Ewan <3

Re: Some movies I have recently watched

I just saw all the Resident Evil movies (the ones with Milla), and must say IMHO they get better with every episode wink
The first one was just plain video game, locked in an underground facility.
The second one was computer game plus some zombie town scenes.
The third one was less zombies and more Mad Max style with even less zombie scenes and a plot starting to emerge.
The fourth one was finally a movie - global scenes and nice locations - with even less zombie scenes, but the few ones were too intense and felt wrong (especially in 3-D).

That's all considered of course you're into the whole apocalypse, extinction, virus, zombie and bad globally powerfull corporation thingy wink

And I'll expect some more from the next part that was started in the last minute of "After Life" big_smile

Watched Wild Things: Foursome tonight. well since i knew this movie has no inner debth i wasn't expecting anything. i just watched this movie for supersexy hot girls and few lesbian foursome scenes big_smile
well overall the story was not that bad (ok this is like 3rd this kind of movie, but still the twists were ok) and girls were hot  cool  5/10

Knight and Day - First Tom Cruise movie in a loooooong time I really enjoyed. And I don't mind watching stupid action scenes as long as they're entertaining. wink

Re: Some movies I have recently watched

so today is the last day of my freedom, tomorrow back to the army and what i did for today, so it would be more special, i went to the cinema, twice.
First watched "Scott Pilgrim vs The World" and it was awesome. even the universal sign in the beginning. everything was so great with that movie, funny and a lot of videogame fighting.
then few hours later i went to see "Inception" finally, because my brother was talking how awesome it was and even imdb.com best 250 movies agreed with him. yeah, it was also good movie. but still best thing i saw today was Scott Pilgrim. even if Inception was good also.

Re: Some movies I have recently watched

Machete - Don't know what people see in this... most of the fight/action scenes were bad and/or suffered from bad CGI, storyline doesn't exist (+lot of scenes seemed to be put in random order) and all the good stuff could already be seen in the extended trailer. And even Steven Seagal didn't help.

Gonna try 30 Days of night sequel today... I loved the first movie and was surprised that the sequel went straight to DVD/BR, because the trailer was OK.

Isn't that the point of it? Its supposed to be kinda bad, overly corny and just over the top. Its a piss take / homage to the bad 60 - 70's action movies. I really enjoyed it in that light. I thought it was pretty damn funny, scenes cut a bit too early, bad lines etc. Not as overt as Black Dynamite but a similar idea and feel. I think if you go in knowing what it is and what it isnt, you would probably really enjoy it.
