Very, very good ep, the "Hanna" thing so reminded me of the good old ER. Also, the seventh season looks promising.

The episode was a masterpiece except for the last 2 minutes.
No one loves a man who objectifies, insults and sabotages you, after you committed yourself to a stable future. No, people get in an affaire in those situations. This last piece was the most stupid thing I ever saw on House.
He is a person who can't be with anyone because to be House, he can't change into someone loveable. So the next season will probably have them splitting up very fast or him quiting his job. Since the latter never holds for more than a few episodes, it'll be the former.
I would have seen him take the pills instead...

People who think that House NOT changing will ruin the show are crazy. If he stays the same, the show will eventually bore you, because everything will be predictable and mundane (and ironically, you all might have to resort to drugs and hallucinations for fulfillment in your lives). Maintaining the status quo with characters on procedurals is terrible...especially for the writing, which eventually begins to parody itself.
I for one, am glad that they're moving in the direction of House's character changing. Sure, the Cuddy relationship thing was a little forced...but to suspend disbelief for something so minor, and in the end, so necessary for the development of the characters, I'm willing.
