Topic: 25/04/10 - TV News Weekly Review #28 - Peter

- The series creator of Mad Men, Matt Weiner, said that the show might end in 2012, with it's six season. (Source) Also, MM will return on July 25.
- Mimi, I mean, Drew Carey is developing a show called WTF! (Wow, That's Funny!)
- Parenthood renewed for a second season. And I thought that it will get axed after a few eps. Gratz.
- Also, Curb Your Enthusiasm renewed for a eight season. (Source)
- Steward and Colbert will be in CC to at least 2012, but I think that they will be making us laugh much, much longer. (Right?)
- Laurence Fishburne is staying in CSI for at least another season. (Meh)
- Kiefer William Frederick Dempsey George Rufus Sutherland says, that a 24 movie script is already done, which is... fast. Really fast. (Too fast)
- Rescue Me returns on June 29. (Source)
- There will be six minisodes for True Blood, starting May 2. Promo.
- Hal Holbrook joins the cast of Sons of Anarchy for it's third season. (YaY!)
- Being Erica renewed for a third season. Also there will be a british remake. (Source)
- How To Make It In America renewed for a second season. Which is weird, 'cause it's not that a funny to deserve a second season. But what do I know...
- There will be no Torchwood US remake. Which means that we can remove the "(UK)" mark from it, right santah? smile
- Futurama returns on June 24! YES!

I'm also surprised about HTMIIAWTFLOLNOOB getting a second season, because it was definately the worst HBO show this last season.

yeeeey, Steward and Colbert stay. good for comedy central, i think they are the best thing they've got, and some of the best tv out there. i'm saying this and i am not from America.
I've been watching them, without missing one single episode, since august of 2006, and i don't consider it a waste of time.

I hope Futurama will be good this time, the last movie length episodes weren't that great compared to the original series. at least it's good that the original voices are there.

btw, i wanted to thank you "Orlando", this weekly update is useful, and i've been reading it since the first "episode". Keep them coming. you're doing a great job.

Great! Besides a US remake of Torchwood would fail really really hard.
