since from that list i only watch/have seen 2 shows the choice was not hard one.

It was a hard choice for me between Ron Perlman and Anna Paquin. Voted for Ron because he starred in more movies and SoA is IMO better than TB.

Timothy Olyphant is more famous from his series then his movies tho. i voted for paquin. i love both SoA and TB but i cant decide which of them is better. rather different shows

So yea..... this was pretty much the hardest poll i have seen on here yet.....good one.... I went with Perlman...because I am just started watching SoA and Ron is funny as hell, also enjoying SG-U. Gunna check out True Blood as well.

movie actors ARE BETTER than tv actors.....that's how they got to be movie actors,they got picked up from tv.everybody starts out on television and some return eventualy(to reboot careers) but i don't think any of the young actors on tv now are going to turn down a movie roll....and there is a reason for that: movies are the next level up the letter. whoever made it to be in movies is a better actor.

Since how good you are at acting is relative to the observer, you are wrong and right... and the statement is mute.. 
I think that far from everything is about acting... it's a lot about looks and being at the right place at the right time.

Agreed... and IMO it's also about having a good manager. You can be a shitty actor and be given roles in high profile films and you can be a wonderful actor and do TV shows all your life.

this is about the ones who made it at least till tv (they were at the right place at right time and looked maaaaaarveless 
) and the fact is they have to perform thus the audience decides if they are apealing enough for or not. so it's not exactly relative now is it? if the majority likes the actor (no matter how shitty he is at his craft) then his manager has something to work with.

What amazes me is you forgot the best one. I really can't believe its not listed. Keifer Sutherland as Jack Bauer on 24. No brainer over all the rest on the list. Hell, I had to register on here just to say that.

Thing is Kiefer IMO never was a movie STAR before joining 24 (probably because he was overshadowed by the talent of his father).

Come on now people Anna, really? Yeah shes a cutie but thats not really enough. Devito has a real body of work. Or Harvey Keitel if you like him.
Im not saying shes not good, because i think she is. And she is a Oscar holder but you know lets be honest.

kiefer sutherland was a bigger movie star then Timothy Olyphant. he played in many big movies with young guns and a few good men as my favorites.
