Topic: 18/04/10 - TV News Weekly Review #27 - Unmasked
Not that much this week.
- You don't see this everyday - Burn Notice renewed for two more season. And the fourth season is still due to premiere! USA must've a great faith in the show.
- There will be a prequel to the new Starz hit Spartacus: B&S. (YaY!)
- Now we know where Coco (hey, today it's his birthday!) will be - TBS. It's the station that shows almost only reruns. (A weird choice, but at least he's back)
- Gossip Girl spoiler here.
- Grey Damon and Lynn Blackburn join the cast of Friday Night Lights. (Moar here)
- My favorite new show Treme was already renewed for a second season! HBO says: "We would have picked up this show last week. We've seen the first nine episodes it's as strong as any show we've seen. Much like 'The Wire,' the audience is so passionate and so invested. We're about servicing our subscriber base and I believe that people will become addicted to this show. We have to be a place where this kind of excellence is giving space to continue." WATCH IT GODAMNIT
- Hey, Seth MacFarlane is making a movie! Wonder how much jew and gay and AIDS jokes there will be in it.
- Speaking of movies, Joss will also do one!
- Comedy Central and The Onion joins forces! And by that I mean a show.
- Carla Gugino joins the cast of Californication. Oh Hank, how I envy you.
- The Game is back in the game.
- Debra Winger joins the cast of In Treatment. (Source)
- Real Time With Bill Maher renewed for another season. (Source)
