Apparently the season finale was filmed ENTIRELY with a Canon 5D MkII DSLR camera.

More than that: you wrote House finale. By that did you mean House season 6 finale or is House done after the end of season 6?

Well, no. The Canon EOS 5D Mark II has full HD video capabilities and they are pretty impressive for a "digital still camera": http://www.usa.canon.com/dlc/controller … cleID=2326 (<- video will blow your socks off)
