Topic: 4x19 - Season/Show Finale

So after watching 4x19 "Brave New World" I get the feeling the show ended exactly where it began 4 years ago. I don't see a next season in the future - it's the same story line now as The 4400 right before it got canceled wink

Also the finale in the NYC Central Park was kinda weak - I expected much more. It feels like not only the heroes ran away but also the writers tongue

This episode actually gave me hope for the next season. It seams to be more like season 1, which had structure and was great.

kinda agree with phuncz here. this episode was way better than most of the episodes this season and the end looked promising.

I'm sorry but that show down between Peter and Samuel was so crap. Both stand there for 30secs seeing who can move the most dirt...

Compared to the rest of season 4, ending was a decent one. Compared to the first season, we could get so much more... and now, Volume 6 is a perfect gateway for a made for TV film, something like "Heroes Wars", but then again, we'll get variations about X-mans, wouldn't we?
And both Samuel and Peter... at least they could throw rocks at each other, try to push the other one around! gee... godzionu's rigth, they should be used as a diggers, but then again... ordinary people with shovels would do better job ;]

Wow... I'm shocked anyone could have enjoyed any aspect of this past season, especially this finally... It all felt so pointless... Samuel was the most useless "villain", and the ending was just a very obvious and simple conclusion...

This show is done in my mind.. I hope it gets cancelled cause for some reason I can't stop watching it even though I haven't enjoyed an episode in a lonnnnggggggg time...

Samuel seemed so promising at the begining but as the season progressed it was obvious that the writers had no idea how to use this character...

I feel cheated.  not only might this be a series finale, but because of the stupid olympics, we get cheated out of 6 eps.  Makes my eyes rain...

I found claire's action at the very end of the final totally not fitting the episode and season. I think no where during the season did she want to make her life public in the contrary she wanted to have a normal college life. That scene just felt like: he we need to have a cliffhanger for a possible next season but we can think of anything descent.

Right on the spot. It got cancelled, thankfully. I hated the way the characters were put to spin around in circles. I started pitying the actor around the middle of the second season. The only good thing about this season, in my opinion, was the resolution for Hiro being basically "you're not wise enough to time travel", I do believe this is the main reason we don't know yet if time travel to the past is possible (to the future is fairly easy, we're doing it right now >P), it is probably forbidden or, if not, everytime someone travels back in time we get a whole rewritten sotry and are none the wiser for it. tongue
