Topic: 19/01/10 - TV News Weekly Review #15 - Welcome back, Carter!
Yes, it should've been done 9 days ago, but it's not my fault that eztv broke exactly that day, right? :< Anyways, I'm glad that I can unload all these news, 'cause my bookmarks folder "TV News" is just overflowing. And I must say up front, that some news might be old, so, sorry. Moving on: - The new USA show White Collar renewed for a second season! Hulk happy! - Mia Kirshner (24, The L Word) joins the cast of The Vampire Diaries for a reccurent role. Her episode will air this Thursday. (Bleh) - As you probably noticed, Better Off Ted and Scrubs are airing two episodes a week. Why? Well, me thinks that it will be axed very soon. (Source) - To those who watch Nurse Jackie, remember Mo-Mo? Well, he's out for the second season. (Noooo!) - Mister Simon I-hate-everything-and-everyone-and-only-an-elephant-on-a-monocycle-makes-me-impressed Cowell, leaves the American Idol. Well, maybe they'll cancel it? (please please please) [edit:]nope, THREE more seasons of AI was ordered. (Hulk mad) - Ok, a little Dexter spoiler for those, who still don't watch it:
(More here) - Kim Raver becomes a regular in this little soap called Grey's Anatomy. Not that anyone cares. - James Van Der Beek joins the cast of Mercy, maybe even for a regular role. (Meh) - Kevin Alejandro (Southland) joins the cast of True Blood for the role of Lafayette’s boyfriend. Yeah, he's finally getting laid. - Sharon Stone will guest star in Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. (In what?) - David Hasselhoff leaves America's Got Talent to star in his own show. (What?) - More spy drama by USA. This is called Covert Affairs and will star Piper Perabo as Annie Walker, a multilingual CIA trainee who is suddenly pushed into a field position because of an ex-boyfriend who is of certain interest to her agency. (Walker.. Walker.. I know that name from somewhere) - There will be a little crossover between The Cleveland Show and Glee. Well, the first one is still crap anyway, so let me know which episode will it be. (Source) - Some of you probably were worried about Lost's premiere, because Obama's national address the same night as the premiere. Well, it's all safe. (Ufff) - YaY, someone's back to Chuck! I won't tell, but I think you know! (YaY) - To Bones fans, remember when in the start of the News Reviews, I said, that it would be a flashback episode to Booth's and Brennan's first investigation? Well, it will be soon and Zack is coming back for it! (Hurray for the old crew!) - If anyone except me watches Glee - there will be a Madonna-theme episode. (Setlist) [edit:] Also, Glee will be back for a second season! Me so happy!) - The biggest failure of 2009, FlashForward, pushes the return date for two weeks, from March 4 to March 18. I smell "cancel" in the air. - Remeber Day One? Remeber, how it's suppose to be a 13 episode series, but then a miniseries? Well, now it's a two hour movie. (Grrrrrrr) - Wow, you won't guess who will guest star on The Big Bang Theory! (Stan Lee!) - Three ABC's comedies are renewed! Modern Family, The Middle and Cougar Town! Rejoice! - A letter form Conan O'Brien, what he thinks about the "Leno case". - Maybe Sutherland's day's are not over - he is "open" to do a ninth season of 24. (Source) - Heh, guess who recently leaved the House and is already out of money? I think you know. - You know Martin Scorsese? So you probably remeber his new HBO produced show Boardwalk Empire? Well, it looks like the pilot cost over 50 million $. Wow. - All about JJ Abrams new spy show "Undercovers". (Anoooother onee?! Daad, I want too gooo hooome) - I just CAN'T WAIT for Caprica, and after the trailer, I want even MOAR!! - Beverly D’Angelo will guest star in Cougar Town. (Moar info here) - Could you imagine Conan as a tough ass biker? Well, maybe we will become one! - Now let's end it with good news: NCIS:LA and The Good Wife renewed! Also, the Ten Shows to Watch this Midseason according to tv.com: http://www.tv.com/ten-shows-to-watch-th … ;gumball;1 Do YOU want to have your own Tonight Show? Nothing easier! Just buy it from Craigslist! /edit stolen from pablo-pancho (:*) New dramas coming soon: Day One - NBC Happy Town - ABC Human Target - Fox (second ep is already out) Justified - FX Life UneXpected - The CW (pilot aired today) Past Life - Fox Parenthood - NBC The Deep End - ABC Short description of these shows here.

Sucks for Day One... I was sooo looking forward to this. I guess Chuck will remain as NBC's only show on my watchlist.
