I love polls! I want them everyday

I think N-E is very luck in that regard. There are very few sites with such high poll participation.
I think it's because polls at N-E most of the time have some component that draws the users. They like to express themselves.
I would say prepare polls more often, and let most of them be lightweight ones (fun polls, whats your favourite x, etc.) and make every 4th or 5th poll a serious question regarding website design, structure, have you ever recommended the site to anyone, etc... With the results a good manager would make its website more efficient, more popular, more successful.
