Yeah, I believe they should have used that opportunity to give peter his original ability back. This one power at a time thing is annoying. There's no balance anymore. This show is getting harder and harder to watch.

Maybe he has to force itas he forced the brain healing when Haitian took his power, or maybe it doesn't work on the special place, where the powers originate from.

I think thats not peter..its sylar..he's imitating peter and going to do some bad thing to claire...

I thought we came to an conclusion that it was a different timeline? He first took the flight ability from sylar/nathan, then before the fight when nathan died(?) he met with the haitian to take(borrow) his ability.
And why would Sylar imitate Peter to do "bad things" to her? In the end of ep14 we get to see Sylars (future, desire?) with/for Claire. I think in his unconscious mind he crave love, and He can't die nor can Claire, its a perfect match (except that shes 17 or whatnot) ;D
