Yeah... that is strange... 1 is good... 20 can be very very bad. Had a magician who rolled 20 three times in a row... he got a permanent head injury and lost both intelligence and psychological strength..

i know!! it is very unbalanced. like, ok, i'm a skilled warrior, in fact, let's say i'm really skilled with the sword, but! one time out of twenty rolls, i'm going to drop my sword or it will break or i will accidentally the whole thing in some way. not realistic!
The way I've played it, it's more like once every 400 rolls, I'll do something more wrong than just a normal miss...
Or wait, that's not actually true until I have swordskills of more than 18. If my skills are lower, it's a bit more often... If I have 15 it's like one i 300 and if I have 10 it's like one in 200...

that's more joke about that they don't cheer when aliens are offering peace and help. So i think comic writer though what would make them cheer, like for americans, it's football.
