Topic: 18/10/09 - TV News Weekly Review #6 - House's Head; Wilson's Heart

Not a good week for me (check the Random Stuff topic), so, without any crappy introducion:

- According to Alan Ball (Six Feet Under), the creator and executive producer of True Blood:

Spoiler

someone will die in the third season (...)and it's going to be really good to see them get what they deserve Who can it be?

(Source)
- Flashpoint, the Canadian action drama was renewed for a third (edit: I mean a fourth(probably)) season (thanks xrnzaaas). (YaY!)
- Rachael Harris (In the Motherhood) will star in Cougar Town as Shanna, Courtney Cox's nemesis. (Spooky!)
- The new succesful ABC drama FlashForward was picked up for a full season, hope the writers will be up to the task. (Let's hope so)
- Remember that Southland was cancelled before the premiere of season two? Well, there is a chance, that TNT will take care of this show under their wings. (Little more info)
- Just two months after Comedy Central cancelled Reno 911!, Thomas Lennon and Robert Ben Garant are making a new sitcom for NBC. (URL)
- Don't worry Dollhouse fans! Fox stated, that it will air all of the 13 planed episodes, no premature canceletion. Also, Josh said, that the 13th episode will provide closure, just in case it won't get renewed (Maybe Epitaph Two?). (Whole article here)
- Ben Watkins (writer on Burn Notice) (...)will write a test script for a show about an adopted, biracial lady detective who struggles to solve the case... and her life. (Read it here)
- Benjamin Bratt (from the recently canceled The Cleaner) will guest star in Modern Family as the ex-husband of Gloria Delgado-Pritchett (the sexy latino chick). (Source)
- There are rumors that the third season of Chuck could air... this month! (I don't believe it/What?!/Yupi!)
- Jorja Fox (Sara Sidle), first just returned to CSI for a five episodes, now... for "indefinitely" number of eps. (Money Money Money, must be funny, In the rich man's world)
- The premiere of season four of Big Love is set: January 10, 2010.
- ABC order thirteen episodes of a new cop drama called The Gates, which (...)centers on a big-city cop who becomes chief of police in a seemingly sleepy planned community only to discover there's much more to the residents than meets the eye. (Source)
- Fox Reality Channel is dead
And no one cares!

(Which song I used?)
- Want to know what CW is cooking up? Well, here's the shows name's:
* Bitches in Britches
* The March Sisters
* Plymouth Rock
* Nashville
(Full article about each show here)
- Because of the shows success, The Good Wife changes showrunners from Dee Johnson (Southland, ER) to Michelle King and Robert King. Johnson was brought only because of the King's low experience on show making.  (And now we don't need you!)

Why does "The Gates" sound a lot like Eureka?

...where did I put that rat's ass I could give?

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

is Eureka still running?

"Avenge Me."
"Judgment Day is inevitable."

Regarding your "spoiler".  Hasn't that happened every season so far?

I'm confused. You're telling us about the renewal of the third season of Flashpoint and there are already four episodes available...

I've also done some digging and it's probably because CBS split the season into two parts and back in Canada there was a single full season. Could someone confirm this?
