Re: New Season

Don't feel like you're missing too much.  The introduction of Lois Lane this early in Clark's life seems hokey and forced.  Clark's Kryptonian father is some kinda jerk from beyond the grave, rather than the brilliant, philathropic birth-father he should be.  Pete Ross is gone?  Every episode Lois/Lana gets nearly naked?  Okay, I'm not really complaining, but how about some class, Smallville?

The only thing the new season has going for it is James Marsters playing He Who Shall Be Revealed As Braniac.

BTW, Lois calls Clark 'Smallville' a lot.  If you were LIVING in a town called SMALLVILLE, don't you think it would be really silly to pick ONE person there out and call them by the name of that town?

I'm gonna pick someone I know and call them NASHVILLE...

Re: New Season

You know, I give Smallville a lot of crap, but tonight's episode (which had lots of silliness) at least had some wicked James Marsters mojo.  The buildup to what has been revealed about his character has been awesome, and there's still so far to go.  While a lot of the subplots of the show get on my nerves, this one RULES.

Re: New Season

Yes all the subplots get on my nerves too. James Masters is a nice add on to the show.
When Lana and Lex kissed...that was just nasty! And damn, I just noticed in the last eppy that Lana is always on a hospital bed every other eppy.

i totally agree with you about that. and yea - the fresh episode was hell a lot better that the previous crap (well, the first one (s5) was nice, but the rest - no comments here).

and about that lana&clark relationship - *damn*, it's just starting to became a Beverly Hills or smtg. i know it can be nice for time to time, but god - give a break...

Re: New Season

Agree with ^M^ about s5 , thinks s4 have been the best season ever so far, hope new season is great.

Re: New Season

Well, I kinda got tired of the whole "in-love-with-lana-but-can't-tell-her-who-am" storyline. I also figured the only way to get her out of his system totally would be for her to fall for Lex and turn evil or something. So, far, it appears to be turning out just like I thought it would.

I'm still waiting for Season 6 to start in my country. They filled the spot with Alias V. Yuck.
