So.. I saw Kate and Leopold today... all I could think about in the ending was: -So Kate dated her great great grandson for four years.... that's kind of weird...

If you're into that sort of thing you should check this out: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Incest_in_popular_culture Wikipedia really does have everything.

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

Mullholland drive confused me. I guess if I would get high on x or something it might make more sense.

Re: Random movies discussion
I'm going to watch "Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li" now... not expecting much except for Kristen "Lana Lang" Kreuk in Kick-Ass mood... I'm gonna post again, whn I'm through with it. Edit: So I just finished watching that movie and I gotta say I got, what I "deserved"... some nice Action scenes and a non-existent story that took too long to be told... Kristen Kreuk is a very cool Chun Li and from the looks of it she did some of her stunts herself; that's cool. Also, this movie has Moon Bloodgood (who I first heard of in "Burn Notice" where she is/was a Detective) and Chris Klein (Oz from American Pie)... Final words: It fills time nicely and got nice Action scenes and fights that are nicely choreographed. Nothing more, nothing less.

Re: Random movies discussion
Aiight, so I've been watching a few "Bachelor Party" movies today... Bachelor Party (1984) starring Tom Hanks Bachelor Party 2: The Last Temptation (2008) And the recipe is exactly the same: Guy is gonna marry chick but some other dude (father, ex-boyfriend or whatever) tries to break the couple up. other dude fails. ceremony. end. Then I watched "A Guy Thing" (2003ish) starring Jason Lee, Julia Stiles and and that chick that kissed Sarah-Michelle Gellar in "Cruel Intentions" whose name i forgot momentarily just a few mins ago. It's different from the other two with a very nice twist and well... if you've seen the movie, you know what I mean. if you haven't, watch it when you got 90mins to spare and nothing important to watch.
▼Spoiler We definitely need another Julia Stiles BotD!!!!! With that said, I'm gonna watch "Bachelor Party Vegas" (2006) starring Kal Penn and Donald Faison what do you think of movies like that?

These are all great movies but the king of this genre is The Hangover (2009) If you haven't seen it - watch it!

I've seen it and it's awesome.... Seems like "Bachelor Party Vegas" is aka "Vegas, Baby" and it's a very cool movie with a twist you don't see coming... now what do I watch tomorrow?

Yeah I have a friend thats dying to see it. He thoroughly empathizes with the rage of the main character and expects to sit there and rage along with him in the movie theatre.

Re: Random movies discussion
Just saw some kind of Trailer... or rather I got a glimpse of a trailer or something... didn't catch what movie or TV show it was for sadly, but here's what I caught: Kristen Bell (i think, 98% sure), dressed in all black, having a fight scene with someone in a dark setting... and she does do a smart-ass comment at the end... But Kristen Bell's imdb Filmography doesn't suggest something like that... So I'm looking at you guys for advice... Please help me out if you can those like 10 seconds I saw looked like spy-thriller-action-comedy-ish to me. The surroundings - if i caught them right - looked like "300"-"Sin City"-"Shoot 'em Up"-ish... a little bit comic'ish... I know this is VERY little to go on, but maybe, just maybe someone recognises it... thanks anyway wck

well.... one reason is: he made "Titanic" then there's all that Special Effects and Animation/Real acting crap... If I wanna see an Animation-Film I watch a random Disney/Pixar film or similar... Seriously... when they use real actors for a movie, then use those real actors f-damnit and don't do some motion-crapture bs... Seriously, Terminator and T2 were awesome movies. I loved the Dark Angel and TSCC series and True Lies is like one of my all-time favorite movie... But he could have very easily made this movie without all that high-tech crap and it would still have had the same effect storywise and with the acting... but tbh I think they had to use all that motion-crapture and animation etc to cover up a not-good story and still make it a Blockbuster... And that kinda movies I don't support...
