Philistine! The Michelle Forbes plot is awesome just because it has Michelle Forbes in it I could watch her read from a phone book for 45 minutes and it would be awesome!

Re: True Blood S02
have to say i find the orgy/eggs part very boring as well, why did they make terra boring?! she was so cool swearing and beeing rude all the time! loved even her mother! great acting. I've red that many people dislike the jason story with the church and all, but i find it fascinating how easy he is to manipulate hehe, he seems so innocent. More Jessica plz!

I did, but know because of the connection with Sookie I don't think of it as boring anymore.

Re: True Blood S02
I've just about finished the 2nd book and it finishes the job in Dallas Sookie and Bill were sent to do. It's very good and I won't ruin it as the show is quite differant but you never know how close it will be. But in the book Jason isn't at the Church of the sun so it changes things quite a bit when you look at the show. Also there isn't any Tara in the book which adds a good eliment to the show. The Michelle Forbes story is much more interesting in the book. Hope they reveal it in the show otherwise it will seem pointless. When I watch the show I can see so much of the book coming through it's great to see. Has anyone here read the book series?

Re: True Blood S02
Yeah, this show is great! I read the first book and I have to admit I prefer the show. In the book everything is focused mainly on Sookie and Bill while in the show many great characters have a lot of screen time - Jason, Tara, Lafayette, Sam - it all makes the story more complex and interesting.

Wow, the newest episode was funny as hell, thrilling, and had a kick-ass ending. Loved every minute of it.

Jupp! what an episode, i'm speachless, but still some things seems strange... I guess they want us to think eric freed godrick? How did he free him so easily when he implied that no man could capture him? And why did godrick even bother to save sookie? She is a lowlife human with no value as far as he knows. The only thing he might know about her is the words she have shouted when she was in the cage. And that blonde babe have better used a damn stungun on jason!

I think Eric didn't free Godric - he didn't have enough time. Plus they would have shown us that, such an emotional scene of reunion between maker and protege. I suspect Godric never was captured, but he rather works with / for the Church. After two millennia he's just tired of the same old shit, so he "plays" with the Church. He wasn't the vampire they wanted to burn (or maybe he was and he let them believe he was suicidal), but he was "in the building" so to speak when he heard Sookie's cry for help. (I think maybe rape goes against his code; he was after all depicted as a "moral" vampire so far.) Or he was captured and resigned to die when he heard Sookie's screams and that made him want to fight, but I hope the writers aren't so cliche ... And as for why he decided to save Sookie? Why, she's the heroine of the TV show. That is reason enough and should be obvious

Re: True Blood S02
Yep, I also think that Godric wasn't really imprisoned (whether the church of the sun were aware of it or not). Either he tried to find the traitor or there is some big nasty plan in his head and that was just a part of it. The Michelle Forbes arc is also quite interesting - what will Sam do now? And Lafayette? Whose puppet is he now - Eric's or Pam's? The only boring thing is Bill struggling with his maker. Booooring!

Re: True Blood S02
Singing Bill was fine... Anyway his maker keeps him from saving Sookie - because of love, jealousy or simply cold calculation (doing a favour for Eric)? It is boring because this situation seems to drag on too long. Or maybe I just don't like to see Bill so helpless

Re: True Blood S02
Yeah, I guess older vamps are more powerful and his maker has some privileges on top of that...

Hopes up for what? Another great, thrilling episode. Love the vampire politics, just like I loved the vampire lifestyle bits in the first season. And Godric is cool although a bit wordy
