There certainly is enough story left for at least one more season. And the whole "John Connor travels to a future where John Connor never existed" thing gives the show a nice twist.

My opinion is that the last half hour of the episode is the worst piece of the entire series. It totally derails the series from the movie timeline and it isn't the story quality we got from the other episodes. Many people will disagree but I think Terminator TSCC is the best movie related series around and maybe one of the top 5 scifi series of the last 5 years. The way the story progressed without getting boring or the characters developing, it was very enlighting for me to watch. Every episode showed perspectives many series forgot to ignore nad made them stale.
I really hated the ending as it clearly is an ending. It's a cheap way of getting a feel-good ending the fans didn't want. I'd rather be satisfied that the last episode just didn't air and that they made a normal one with a cliffhanger.

I loved the show, quite liked him in it and have no issue with him making a making a drunk youtube video but seriously either buy a shirt or hit the gym, my 4 year old nephew has a better developed torso

and honestly... i love Firefly, and River certainly was one of the most interesting characters, but don't you think she looks kinda... goofy... i didn't really notice it until the shot just after the rollercoaster camera movement [00:17:30] in Serenity, but once i saw it, i can't unsee it... it's almost a little bit mongoloid... she's graceful, athletic and such, but certainly not 'hot' by any definition...

also, I have a ritual called "terminator". I crouch in the shower in the "naked terminator" pose. With eyes closed I crouch for a minute and visualize either Arnie or the guy from the 2nd movie. I flicked over channels last night and got my first glimpse of TSCC. It was a submarine ...liquid metal thingy ...they sunk the sub ...
I only caught the last 15 mins or so of the ep and I was left WTF'ing

I can imagine that... it's not very easy to understand anything, from the ending of that episode...

Yeah, the series matures a lot after the short first season, but season 2 gives a lot back. It might be me but I think the series had a lot of potential, mainly because in such a "difficult to serialize" universe, it stayed fresh and invented new perspectives that are appealing. I like all the emotional struggles and the conflicts you don't see in the movies, it is portrayed very well in the series.
