Re: Harry Potter
Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.
Re: Harry Potter
Agreed Saw it today as well.. It was so disappointing so I watched Brüno 10 minutes later and it was awesome
Re: Harry Potter
Could you elaborate, did you enjoy the books and story of Harry potter yet the film was poorly made? Or do you not really enjoy the series yet thought for some reason the movie would be good?
Re: Harry Potter
I get the feeling that NC hasn't actually read the books.... of course, I could be wrong... he might like the books and not the movie.... after all, all of the other HP-movies have sucked, so why should this one be any different?
The books rule, by the way...
You really should not read the black area, unless you've read all the books... but maybe you're just to damn curious?
Re: Harry Potter
Mxyzptlk, you are truly evil But I would like to know the answer to why NC didn't like the movie as well. I read the books, haven't seen a single movie, so I couldn't give a crap, but just out of curiosity I'd like to know ...
Re: Harry Potter
Awww...the movie sucks??? And here I was thinking it might not. Nah, i figured it wouldnt be too good, i loved the books...but the movies werent all that great...

Why would you get that feeling Mxy?
To correct you my dear nemesis... I'm actually a big book reader. Read all the HP books and liked them very much. Thats my 'light' reading - I'm more interested in books of the likes of Tolkien and Trudy Canavan (Priestess of the White).
The movie was CRAP just because it was CRAP! Even the movie based on Phillip Pullmans: His Dark Materials (known to Americans as 'The Golden Compass' - go figure) was a better rendition of book to movie! and that movie wasnt all that great either! (The book is awesome btw)
So yeah, Mxy - wrong again buddy!
Re: Harry Potter
I'm sitting here trying to think of one word, the best word to describe the movie that I just spent 3 hours watching....
Ah, Got it! One word: CRAP!!!!
CRAP CRAP CRAP!
Waste of time and money!
and again... CRAP!
my question to u is if u dident like the 5th movie either as that was also from the same director?
i havent seen the 6th movie yet but liked the previous movie

The 5th was good.
Re: Harry Potter
I've read all books at least twice in my life and it's not that the movie suck in the way it's poorly made, I just think this book wasn't suppose to be made into movie. You'll enjoy it if you're a Harry Potter fan but you will get the feeling that nothing happens and you'll want the last movie/movies asap

hahaha... sorry. Buddy! :-)
You were wrong though, I do like the books. but as I said.... the movie was CRAP!
I get the feeling that NC hasn't actually read the books....
But... what gave you this 'feeling'?
Re: Harry Potter
So this statement would be correct?
of course, I could be wrong... he might like the books and not the movie
Which means that it's right.... my statement... right...
I guess that it was something in your tone, that gave me that feeling....
Re: Harry Potter
naha i think it wasn't that bad. i love the books, and of course the movies can't keep up with the books. no movie can. even lotr didn't. it would take years to write a decent script and prepare for a great movie. so taking that in consideration it really didn't suck that much than for example part 4. i actually liked lots of the special effects, the beat was good, but it was kind of bumpy sometimes and the anticipation wasn't build up right. but i liked it and my son did as well. so go watch it!

The only true pleasure is malicious pleasure
Re: Harry Potter
Oh not again! All this reading about harry potter watching the crew for last 2 films and such have made me want more! Gonna read the books again.
Re: Harry Potter
I'm glad to see that, so it seems, paisley1 agrees with me.
And apart from saying 'crap' I couldnt have put it better!
It was way too long and contentless! There was no exciting and a major lead up to nothing. I was actually bored. Seriously, sat there for 3 hours.... bored. I think I MAY even have dozed off for 5 minutes. If they want to learn about action or keeping the customer entertained, then they should watch, re-watch and re-re-re-re-re-re-watch Transformers 2!
Re: Harry Potter
explosions make any movie good...or at least better.
