you forgot a couple of details
the smallest son, found a picture of his mom naked and carried it around and jerked off to it, now he's selling pot to his teachers in school and get's with 2 girls, and they're like 11..
the uncle who's living with them, is missing a toe, was a cayote, is also in love with the mom.

I can see where the other votes are coming from, but as far as the most "dysfucntional" family I can't see how there's even a competition. Sure arrested development is a great show, and yes their family is pretty messed up, and the Bundy's are pretty freaking ridiculous. Still, anyone that's actually seen It's Always Sunny In Philidelphia knows there's just no question of the most dysfuctional and screwed up family on TV.

Well... since there were a couple of other families mentioned, let me throw in another one... The Jarlewsky's from JPod... Mum grows Weed in the basement and has an affair with her son's boss. Dad is a dead-end actor who hangs around with some Asian mobsters. Son works as a Gore specialist at a computer game developing company and has to do some fairly odd "tasks" for his family, like help his mother dump the dead body of her competition etc pp... I can't remember any particular dialogues, but they were insanely weird sometimes... If you've seen the show, you know what I mean...

Great show to be sure that should have gotten a second season. Possibly the most dysfunctional family with no minor children. Certainly one of the funniest.

yeah i watch Weeds... the disparaging factor for me is that the
Botwins are pretty messed up, but despite all their dysfunctlonality they still treat each other with a bit of respect.... can't say the same for the Reynolds however... Frank, Dennis & Sweet Dee are pretty messed up, and when you factor in that Frank is more than likely [read: most surely] Charlie's father also... well that just knocks it out of the park...
