Topic: Season 2 finale discussions - spoilerific of course
What an end. How did see this coming. They showed scenes from the finale way back at the start of season 2. I always wondered whos red teddy that was and what kind of show down at the White residence happens... And why oh why had Jesses GF to die - she would've made a terrific regular in season three!!!

Re: Season 2 finale discussions - spoilerific of course
nah, you knew she was doomed the minute Jessie laid a hand on her... didn't expect it to be quite like that tho... and Jessie needed it to happen to open his eyes a bit to the kind of game he's playing... and i kinda think she deserved it... yeah, jessie clearly loved his meth, but H is a different thing, and she was clearly damaged goods and the last thing Walter and the Walter and Jessie partnership needs is some junky bitch who can't handle her shit...

Well at least she had her 18-months-chip so she was doing well. It could've turned out differently but this way it's easier to write. I'm just saying - she was extremely easy on the eyes

This ending was EPIC. I just can't find words to describe it. And Walt with a goatee FTW!

no she wasn't doing well... that was the tragedy of the character... she was doing it to appease her father, not for her own wellbeing, and as soon as the slightest temptation came into her life, she rearranged those priorities to suit her needs... that is not the definition of doing well.... and "extremely easy on the eyes"... totally moot point... and Walt is so badass... the "stay out of my territory" in the hardware store to the Heisenberg clone/wannabe was great...

OK - true - but she was by far the most attractive girl on the show. And I hate pretty girls beeig dead. theConundrumm wrote:2x01 737 2x02 Grilled 2x03 Bit by a Dead Bee 2x04 Down 2x05 Breakage 2x06 Peekaboo 2x07 Negro Y Azul 2x08 Better Call Saul 2x09 4 Days Out 2x10 Over 2x11 Mandala 2x12 Phoenix 2x13 ABQ clever, no...? Indeed to perfectly arranged to be a coincident. But what do the other words mean? Me thinks that Walt is in fact so badass that he fakes his own death. The plane crash gives him the opportunity to escape his public appearence he gaines through his donation website. Also Skyler leaving him and taking a new born with her could help, since he definitely doesn't want his family get hurt. What if he gets a new identity and goes real drug-lord badass?

Re: Season 2 finale discussions - spoilerific of course
comments made on the finale podcast by the creator indicate that Skyler won't stay "gone" long... and there was something to the extent that [they would like to see that] by the end of the third season she will have a good idea of what Walt is up to but no proof... or smthn... was doing some video editing at the same time and sort of zoned out a bit on that one...

Re: Season 2 finale discussions - spoilerific of course
Just finished watching Breaking Bad (took me just over a week). Few comments... -I was rooting for Jane to die. -Skyler has to be one of the most annoying and puerile characters I have ever seen on TV. Honestly, I FF'd through a lot of her scenes for fear of smashing my monitor. -Walt Jr made me laugh -The only characters I truly liked were Walt and Hank. Overall however I thoroughly enjoyed the show.

True - but she's the opposite part of Walt and this works very well. Walt wouldn't/couldn't act as he does if Skyler was different. And now she's hopefully gone for a few eps

The other words don't mean anything. Episodes 1, 4, 10, and 13 are the only ones that begin with the black and white "foreshadowing" scenes with the teddy bear. Great catch on that one! I love this show!

Re: Season 2 finale discussions - spoilerific of course
Skyler is the most controlling female of all time! Actually surprised walter hasn't snapped completely and gone psycho! First nags him to get Gretchen's help, then he says no, because he doesn't want charity. So what does she do? She goes and supports Walter Jr's website ASKING people for money - what is wrong with this woman? So she's all for other people giving them money, then after she finds out all his treatments are paid for and it wasn't Gretchen/ Walter's mum - she flips out and leaves with the baby? Is it just me or is she the most frustrating, controlling character ever invented? Walter says again that he's against the website,
