Re: How do you plan to survive the lack of new tv over the summer?

And now you're patronising me.  I don't need you to tell me I'm awesome.  I don't need you to think that I'm awesome - cos it's obvious that you don't.  My opinion is just as LOGICAL as yours and what I need you to do is get your head out your ass and stop appointing yourself the judge of what is right or valid or logical.

And why do I feel the need to explain myself to you - I'm going to bed!  roll

Wow, that was totally taken the wrong way.  Karen, can you come up with a course for me to take like Sheldon's course on The Big Bang Theory for when I get 3 strikes, so I can get my strikes removed?  I think I'm at like 1000 strikes or something.  I don't know how not to come off as a total asshole with you.  And I'm honestly not trying to be condescending or patronizing, it just comes out that way.  Sorry.

To get your strikes removed simply take the class held by K which is enjoying a whole day of B5 big_smile

And awesome timing for a repost of that hilarious pic - Orlando lol

Oh, and WELCOME TO NEXT-EPISODE.NET Phuncz!!!!

Interesting you chose this as your first topic to respond to, and I agree that seasons 5 and 6 of 24 were terrible, and that 7 was better now that Tony is back.  However, I still think Fringe is shite compared to 24.  Two different leagues when it comes to production and scale.

Thank you ! I've been using the site for some time and I saw the forum smile Didn't have much time to check out much here, time constraints. Why do you think Fringe is shite ? Because I can't figure out why it *could* be bad. It's The X-Files of the 21st century ! It has deep story lines, interesting seperate stories, compelling characters played by very good actors. This has so much potential I almost have an erection thinking about it... I've been waiting for series like Lost and Fringe for a long time and JJ Abrams just does his magic and delivers.

Anyway, I just found out something else I could do, retro gaming ! www.gog.com has a lot of classic games for low prices, compatible with XP and Vista, really nice to get the old school feeling again !

Re: How do you plan to survive the lack of new tv over the summer?

I pay for the things I really like and a few euros for a game I had months of fun playing is small change. I have bought most PC games I play more than a week. I even have Quake 1 in original state ! I can waste all that money I could have saved by downloading games on a bigger TV set or something but the fun of that wears out too. I got everything I need, just not enough harddrive space at the moment !

I've already seen most stuff on Fringe too, because this is a series for a new generation. I'm from the Star Trek: TNG and X-Files generation. Before that was The Outer Limits and such. But I like it nonetheless. Just like I enjoyed the current reboots like The Day The Earth Stood Still for example.

Anyway, back on topic: I got the entire House M.D. series lying around too and I just bought a flash for my camera so I guess I can get this summer through without boredom. Also got a few events lined up this summer that need to be realised so I probably won't have so much free time smile

Ya, Raising the Bar isn't up yet, not even tvtorrents, torrentzilla, or eztv.

http://www.acetorrents.net/
This is a member only site that usually seems to have TV shows first. Personalized .torrent files require signing up to use it. Very few users but the download speeds are unusually fast. The few users part makes it hard to impossible to meet their .7 share ratio most of the time, but they don't care as long as you seed the torrent for 48 hours. The seeding takes no bandwidth as no one is downloading. Seems like most TV torrents only get snatched from 4 to 20 times. I have no idea where the fast download speed comes from but I usually average over 350 kB/s. Still I only use them for the episodes that I know are out there but just aren't showing up in the usual places. That said they don't seem to have Raising the Bar yet.

I'm about centered geographically in the middle of the continental US. Ace reports to be in Canada going by my Flagfox Add-on.
I'm still not finding Raising the Bar anyplace at all.
