Topic: Dollhouse Renewed, apparently....
Just got this from eztv a few minutes ago. Seems like Dollhouse actually is renewed for another season, amazingly enough. http://www.thrfeed.com/2009/05/dollhous … eason.html (I actually did think that not showing the thirteenth episode was actually an indication of renewal rather than cancellation, but you never know with Fox.)

hmm...not sure, they really have no idea what is good, do they. this isn't half as good as firefly was and it gets to live.

I agree it's taken way longer than Firefly did to find its feet and create some good hours of television, but I'm delighted that they are giving it a chance to grow and develop.

Re: Dollhouse Renewed, apparently....
Yay!!! I just saw it here: http://www.avclub.com/articles/dollhous … n%2C28095/ Maybe it's not half as good as firefly, but it has enormous potential, and the show is getting better and better. Maybe when Joss will have all the power and money from the Dollhouse:Las Vegas and Dollhouse:Miami and the Dollhouse New York, he'll bring Firefly back for another season...

I think they've learnt from Firefly and gone along the lines of "if we cancel this it'll be like Firefly all over again"...

Re: Dollhouse Renewed, apparently....
I think the DVD could do quite well as it holds that unaired 13th episode. Though most people I imagine have the option of downloading it. It is one episode after all. Interestingly, I read that some of the international broadcasts of the series will be showing the 13th episode...

So when sources talk about "a shift in creative direction" for the new season, should we start considering "Epitaph One" a second season pilot and the shape of things to come? Joss Whedon's not saying just yet (although he is saying things like "oh, the terrible things my brain is brewing... Just wait. We'll make it worth it," if that helps), but co-executive producer Elizabeth Craft has suggested that the episode may even become part of the second season: [T]o us, we don't think of ["Omega"] as the last episode of the season, even though it technically is, because ["Epitaph One"] gets into - well, I don't want to say too much about it... Hopefully if we get a Season 2, we'll show that episode.

I wonder if they'll end up realising it on the season 1 DVD then?
