Topic: 3x25 (spoilers)
anyone else really pissed off that the characters are so thick, they didnt think to just get claire to inject her blood into nathan and to just cut sylar up into pieces and bury them seperately.

Re: 3x25 (spoilers)
That's exactly what I hate about this show. I am also pissed that Peter can only hold onto one power at a time. He was much better the way he was before, plus it helped to level out the playing field as there was someone who could actually go against Sylar and actually have a chance. I hate and like this show and am trying to decide on whether I should continue watching it. So what happens when Sylar remembers who he is. Does this mean then there will be no more Nathan? I think they make some really stupid decisions on this show sometimes.

Re: 3x25 (spoilers)
What the hell they do, and why? Didn't they try something similar before and it failed ?!! Peter could have done that so easily, or angella has anonther plan for sylar ? weaker than the last episode and 5/10 finale to the season

Re: 3x25 (spoilers)
I dunno, I actually enjoyed this finale... I've been pretty dissapointed so far with the whole season (post Arthur Patrelli storyline at least), but I thought it was an interesting twist with Nathan/Sylar. They forsure could have found some way to keep Nathan alive, but come on, how many times are you gonna kill the guy only to bring him back to life. Hopefully for volume 5, they will try and keep things a little more simple... This finale has actually given me a little more hope that Heroes can still be a good show to watch...

I'm happy Sylar is still alive... this show would be nothing, without him!

Re: 3x25 (spoilers)
Some really bad acting of Cristine Rose in the scene when Angela and Matt found Nathan. I really don't know what to think of the finale. I'm trying to get something good out of it, but it just won't work Zachary Quinto is obviously the one who's leaving the show and as Sylar was the one character that made the last season bearable. So now he's gone, but not really gone since he impersonates Nathan, but that's not going to be the same at all. I wonder if the next season will be any good.

+1 but what's about that info on main site: Season 3 will have 26 episodes. So stay tuned for schedule updates. anyone to confirm that? it would be pretty dumb do air another ep, when the 'volume' itself just ended right there

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

looking at tv.com, there was a special at the start of the season to recap the first few seasons of heroes, that would explain 26 eps

Re: 3x25 (spoilers)
I can't believe anyone likes Sylar...he's got to be the most boring, 'forced' character that I've ever seen. Basically, he's a puppet to the writers with no personality to speak of. His objectives change whenever we need a plot twist, and he's never got good motivation to do any of the things that he does. He should NEVER team up with anybody, and he shouldn't hesitate to kill...there's no worse combination than an evil character that's also uninteresting psychologically...and I know some of you will say that he IS psychologically interesting, but really, do any of his psychological quirks last for more than an episode? Never! We had the whole identity crisis thing for one episode, and then BAM! an episode later, he's changing shape constantly and without hesitation. His psychological quirks are just an excuse for a filler episode now and then. Even the trip to see his dad...totally meaningless in the big picture. He's such a lame character that I wish they'd just finish him off and introduce a character like Adam who was bad, with motivation, and a cunning mind. Sylar is so dull that it hurts. In fact, I'd off a bunch of the characters...Nathan, Claire, Sylar, and Suresh. Having Nathan on the world political stage is just too ambitious...there are too many loose ends that will never get tied up politically, and consequences that have too large ripples to subdue and correct. If anything happens on the political stage regarding the heroes, it has to change the whole world, irreversibly....otherwise it's too fake. Claire should die, because she's totally useless...so what if she can't die? she can't do anything else either! all she does is run into fights, then run away from fights....she's so boring it hurts. Sylar....just stupid...he's basically a God, but he's too stupid to do anything interesting with that fact. Suresh...he's not convincing as a cutting edge scientist that can figure things out....and as a super-strength hero, he comes across as even less intelligent and more irrational. He's a character that just isn't worth the time it would take to develop him into something worth giving a damn about. The good characters: Bennet: With Claire out of the picture, he could focus on doing what he does best: working at outsmarting people with powers. He's the only impressive character on the show, because he's heroic, cautious, intelligent, and cunning...plus he has a shred of humanity in him...excellent. Peter: With Nathan and Sylar gone, Peter has a chance to be interesting, because deep down, he wants to be a hero...he hears his calling and wants to answer it. Right now he's so distracted from being a hero that he's not developing as a character...there's no conscience operating in him anymore, and that's the only thing that makes him interesting. Even if he only has one power at a time, it's not the powers that make him a likable character, it's his inner desire to be a good person that does. Parkman: Right now he's the most likable character on the show, because he's got a realistic inner conflict; family and a normal life vs. hero life. Plus, his powers are the most versatile in terms of plot devices...they allow information to be revealed and concealed....very important. The Jessicas: Icy-watery girl has promise, though she needs to develop a personality that consists of more than just being a cold hearted bitch. Claude: The invisible guy from early on. He had an awesomely dynamic personality, and he obviously knew more than he let on. Instantly interesting. The guy that played him was excellent too. Ando: For God's sake! let this guy get some action! Having Hiro as the leader of the duo was funny for a while, but it's getting depressing to watch the smart guy being let, and bullied by the dumber half of the group. Hiro: Make him into a hero! He's been reduced to a crappy punchline. The comic relief is fine, but it feels so out of place when they're walking through a time-frozen scene where things of great seriousness have been happening. Hiro is the man with a mission! Also, they've got to put some rules in place for how the time travel works, so that he can have his powers back. He should have all his powers, but there should be limits on how they can be used. Being able to go back and undo everything is stupid....hopefully they use this whole headache/nosebleed stuff to introduce important limitations on his powers somehow. Claire's biological mom: A trailer trash lady with the ability to throw fire = plenty of fuel for an interesting character. The hot blonde water-ice chick vs. the fiery hot fire-chick...or even have them as a team... Daphne: If they could somehow bring her back it'd be sweet. She had potential, and an interesting past. Interfering with the Parkman situation could prove interesting too. Mama Petrelli: So much has happened that her 'know-it-all' quality has been more or less exhausted. Now she serves well as a sort of pseudo-prophet....kind of how the future-painting work, except more interesting. Isaac Mendes: I wish they could bring him back...he was interesting, especially as an addict with powers...the power to predict the future, but a fatal weakness to his addiction that makes him unreliable and prone to making devastating choices. Chad Faust: Whatever happened to him? he was the super soldier that they made....he's a decent enough actor, and there's definitely room for a soldiery type character that functions as a threatening brute. Elle: Bring her back and give her a personality that has more than one dimension to it, and you have a dynamite character played by a great actress. Adam Monroe: How could the writers just leave a centuries-old grudge like that buried 6 feet under ground? Adam was awesome! Also, I think they need to introduce some awesome non-powered characters...a good scientist, that isn't going to go charging into battle; a best friend to one of the heroes that remains connected to something resembling reality(Isaac's gf was good for that), a Jack Bauer-esque character that can save the heroes' asses once in a while to remind them that powers won't do it by themselves - they need to be able to think on their feet and act when the opportunity presents itself. Also, a non-hero person whose life is at risk...someone that they'd have to make a sacrifice for. There are no characters like that, and it's basically made all the 'heroes' into self-centered assholes. They have nobody to give a damn about except for themselves. -Rob

Re: 3x25 (spoilers)
You're actually right with Sylar. He is a forced character and a puppet. But the sad thing is that his changes almost every episode were the one thing that was remotely interesting in the last season. There was no real story, so Sylar changing from one personality to another was basically the one thing that kept going throughout the season. And since the other hero characters were not really better... well... Sylar was what kept me watching most of the time. And although I didn't read all of your character improvement suggestions (btw. good ideas ) I too think most of the chars have a bigger potential. I like the idea to put some non-hero characters in the show. It maybe would give the show more credibility and help develop some interesting some interesting substories.

Re: 3x25 (spoilers)
Actually, I like the John Glover suggestion too. Micah and the chick that could learn things by seeing them are both characters with potential too. The show could definitely use some Lost-esque writing treatments, and a plot that lasts long enough to actually get developed. With Maya, it's sort of bittersweet, because she was annoying as hell, even if she was 'developed' for half of season 2. In any case, this show is hanging on to my watchlist by a very very thin thread. -Rob

Re: 3x25 (spoilers)
The Hatian was okay...definitely useful as a way to eliminate powers... I don't particularly care for the character, though his power is like Parkman's; a good way to make a plot work. -Rob
