Law & Order: UK

Well this little gem aired on iTV today.  I grabbed it off of channel BT to see what it's like...from the dry intro to the cockney slang that the americans are bound to miss ... I feel that this show is somewhat of a let down.

I put it in the same category as Law & Order: Case Files sad

I agree! I wasn't expecting much and I was not very impressed, might give it a few more eps before I give up on it tho!

Re: Law & Order: UK

Watched the 2nd ep yesterday.  I have trashed it as a viable Law and Order extension ....HOWEVER if I think of it as "The Bill: criminal prosecution" I can stomach it big_smile

Re: Law & Order: UK

membreya here was kind enough to toss me the first ep... [as there is no way i would waste my time downloading it myself]... and after putting it off for a bit i just got round to watching it... straight up, the intro theme was way off, and not having the law and order "doink doink" sound severely hurt my expectations of how i was going to be spending the next 45 minutes...but then.... then i'm pissed that nobody mentioned it has the oh-so-watchable jamie bamber in it, and that he gets to let his accent out of it's cage... that there alone is enough to keep me watching... story wise, it was pretty average... as far as the dialogue goes, it was a bit heavy on the acronyms [:P]... loved the "decidedly british" anachronisms... and did i mention it has jamie bamber in it...?

i'm going to eat your brains and gain your memories...
