Re: Planet of the Dead *SPOILERS*
You should be able to find it by now - I already have it downloaded.
Re: Planet of the Dead *SPOILERS*
I was a little disappointed with this episode.. it was okay, but not great..
I do love Michelle Ryan.. and at least she didn't do a Kylie and die.. so we might see her again
Re: Planet of the Dead *SPOILERS*
Iv got a feeling the companions going to be Christina. Don't know why.

Re: Planet of the Dead *SPOILERS*
I have to say I was rather pleased with Lady Christina de Souza's character....Michelle Ryan did an excellent job....I would reclassify her now as a top choice - tied for #1.
Re: Planet of the Dead *SPOILERS*
...... UNIT leader was a bit annoying though...
...
true, true...

Re: Planet of the Dead *SPOILERS*
Unfortunately I missed the episode on tv. Will have to wait for tv-rip to be released in the next few hours. I'm like a freaking junky, refreshing search pages every couple minutes... I really need my Doctor Who fix, bad!
the episode has been available on my site for over a day now (since shortly after it aired)

Re: Planet of the Dead *SPOILERS*
I liked the warning the woman gave to The Doctor though. "Your song is ending", "He's coming, and he'll knock twice", really looking forward to his final episodes, but it'll be a shame when he's gone and I'm yet to be convinced by the next Doctor.
I believe the exact quote was " It's coming out of the darkness. He will knock four times"...
I suspect Gallifrey will have something to do with this; I surely hope it's not the master, AGAIN!
Even though John Simms did a great job last time, I'd rather see something new and more exciting.
I'm getting a bit weary of RTD's writing so I can't wait for Moffat to take the helm; I will miss David Tennant's amazing acting skills though;

Yes quite.

I think I read somewhere that John Simm had been seen around the set...
Re: Planet of the Dead *SPOILERS*
Cath Tate wasn't going to be a companion at first remember doesn't mean in the future she wont do a season, besides were not looking at a companion for tennant are we, the new doctor will just have to pick his own companion

Yes this is true, but she didn't say she didn't want to be. It was never assumed by t he producers, but after it aired they liked her and asked her back.
Ryan on the other hand said she doesn't want to be.
Granted anything could happen...
We'll know soon enough, there talk of showing Matt Smith's Doctor look in around May, and his companion soon after.
Re: Planet of the Dead *SPOILERS*
If she doesn't want to be the companion.. it's up to us, the fans, to convince her! Isn't it?
Re: Planet of the Dead *SPOILERS*
I totally love this show!! For me though its been David Tennant who's made it, he's a brought a really different side to the doctor we haven't seen in the past, a more "human like" quality. I'll be really sad to see him go, and he said when he was being interviewed that the last couple of eps are really emotional!! Guess we have to wait all the way to November now to see the next one
I know this is going to be controversial, and i don't want to start arguments here, but I wasn't a fan of Michelle Ryan at all. Her performance with David Tennant didn't seem real enough to me it felt wooden, they didn't click, nowhere near as well as he did with Billie Piper or Freema Agyeman. But thats just my opinion, and I know i'm propbably in the minority here

not at all... on a whole, i found the whole thing a little disappointing... Ryan's performance aside, the story was a bit lackluster... also methinks that Tennant's performance as The Doctor has become almost a bit formulaic... don't get me wrong, i think he makes a great Doctor, but, and i think this is mostly due to the writing, his quirkiness eccentricity are a little bit too front and centre and it's starting to wear a bit thin... i've thoroughly enjoyed the last few years with him, but it's definitely time for some new blood to be pumped through those two hearts...
