For once the comments on youtube are right, it does look like a complete rip off of the Stephen King story called Langoliers.

Langoliers was good stuff, add Doctor and you will have really good stuff.
That's the reason i this year wait for Easters.

I can not bring myself to watch that trailer... I've clicked on it twice now, but ended it at once... I just don't want to ruin the episode with any kind of spoilers hmm
