Re: Burn Notice
I think that was the first thing we thought, it reminds us of MacGyver with the narration and the building spy equipment from regular household items. I love the show and was relieved to see it renewed. In the naming issue, what about Smallville? Isn't he out of smallville now and in Metropolis and it's still named Smallville right? LOL doesn't seem to matter much. (and Lost, aren't they unlost now?)

Re: Burn Notice
Burn Notice is totally a mix between MacGuyver and A-team... but is anyone else stoked that Bruce Campbell being back on TV... the doods hilarious... his one liners in Army of Darkness among his other films are still in the back of my head. I'm only sorry i didn't pick up on this show earlier.

Re: Burn Notice
I can hardly look at her, she's so digusting. Too much bad plastic surgery. Her lips are ridiculous and she's way too skinny. One of the ugliest women on TV these days. It's a shame because she's a good actress and I love the show, but her butchered face makes it very hard for me to watch it.

Jealous?
Didn't I make myself clear before: I think she looks disgusting! There's no reason for me to be jealous of someone who looks as shitty as she does. She used to be quite good looking, but made a lot of very bad plastic surgery choices. Also, this whole stunt of yours posting with this account is getting ridiculous. Everyone knows who you are, so you can stop the charade now.

Re: Burn Notice
I have no clue what "this" means... But I would never want JJ Abrams to get a hold of this show in any way, Firstly let me say that I do like Lost and I am kind of on the fence with Fringe..I like the actors, the characters but it just doesn't have the punch that lost had. I'm even excited about the new star trek movie.. But I think Abrams would just take this and over dramatize and really over consipiracize (probably not a real word) it to death. I like this show the way it is, it's simple an enjoyable and not overly complex.

Re: Burn Notice
I gotta agree... Abrams would ruin it by over doing things. And yes "this" much fun is good... but "THIS" much fun is better! I dont think it's part of the BRO CODE but it should be.... BARNEY IS GOD! @paisley no idea what you mean by .torrent format.... you mean like season and episode number? cause i'd post it up but i dont need any more GEEK POINTS.

Re: Burn Notice
Then my dear sir, I believe you need to watch another show. And that wasn't meant to sound shitty...I just mean as: I like the flow and symmetry of this show the way it is, I don't really want to know back story of what he did...I don't really care. The show is simple. Character=Mike Weston Plot=Find who burned him Solution=get there in whatever manner possible Problem=people who burned him are trying to stop him See I myself do like the magnum Pi shows...even to this day. I say it again they were entertaining..and all this trivle of needing back story and wanting to add unnecessary quandaries and complications just make it tedious...there are already plenty of shows like that floating around, and making this one like that will for sure make it burn out as fast as some of these other shows that have come and gone. Examples: Traveller- loved the show...but they tried over complicating it with too much unnecessary conspiracies to try and make it "THis" much better. another example - John Doe - This show was great out the gate,,,but then they tried to over complicate things and just went to the crapper by the end with too many conspiracies and waaay to much rubbish towards the end. I for one wonder how much longer Prison Break can get away with it's artful complexity of utter BS..as far as I go only season 1 and 2 are worth anything.... I'm just tired of having to think ....I do it at work..I don't want to have to do it all the time watching tv. Oh and Ponch...you're not a geek..you're a nerd Call me friday I will probably join you out at the pub.

Re: Burn Notice
Yeah, the show is supposed to be (and is) great light entertainment. It doesn't need the J.J. Abrams injection to make it great, it already is.

paisley1 wrote:The season 2 finale had so many little flaws, it was annoying, however, that said, I like that Father Krane from Frasier is one of the bosses of this Multinational, keeping Michael from being whacked, and that Michael now wants to be out from under their protection, and then jumps into the ocean from a helicopter and has to swim back. Next season will be awesome and now I'm sad that I have to wait for a year, to both belly ache and praise this show.
I would be curious to see what your tv show would look like..what with a perfect script and everything.

paisley1 wrote:Every show has an aspect of phoniness, and Burn Notice is normally consistent with how things work in reality, unlike, say, Alias, which does not. This last ep had huge areas of phoniness, like when Michael managed to escape the blockade in front of the parkade with the hot wired corvette.....ya right, or how Bruce managed to stave off Carla's men from Mike's mom with that diversion, or how Mike survived that fall from the chopper, or even survived throughout the episode for that matter. The consistent practical timing of how they get away, was sacrificed on the alter of cohesiveness for the script. You guys didn't see through the finale? Why? It was blatantly phony. Great entertainment, just not consistent with what they've done before. One of the first episodes I finally said, "Ya right!" If you guys didn't see it, whatever, it's just an opinion, take it or leave it. Oh, and every show, every script, has flaws, nothing will be perfect, but some shows come darn close, where there is no weak link, ie, BSG.
Uhh Bsg? Which part is not the weak link? you mean the part where starbuck isn't dead? Or the part where the air is escaping out Galactica and clearly you can hear the cylon say close the door..though when air is escaping at that speed from an vacuumed environment sound can't travel at a forward speed fast enough to be heard? Or the fact that at the velocity that the air is being removed that it would suck the oxygen out of your lungs far before you would be able to hold it? ...so Bsg gets a free pass on your slide rule because it's drama and just enough action? Or because it's scifi? I give it one as well as burn notice cause it's a frickin Tv show
