Topic: Season 3
Who else is a little dissapointed in the overall feel of the new season?? I'm not too happy with the slowed down theme song. It's just not the same

Oh yeah, the theme song sucks now!!! I really enjoyed the new episode though - what about it disappointed you?

it was kind of a low-key episode, but judging from the ending of it next week will take off.

Agreed, I hate the new version of the theme song.
Though for some reason I swear I have seen THIS episode before, especialy the whole scene where she gets the tickets, and then the reaction the next morning.
There is just something very familier about it.

well folks, I, for one, totally dug the theme song redux... methinks the problem is more the visuals don't sit right with it.... but that's irrelevant....
as for the show itself.... it was fresh and new, yet familiar and comforting... couldn't ask for more really... I have dropped so many shows and walked out on so many movies over the years it's not funny... but, to me, what this episode represented was exactly what more shows should be doing.... ie NOT doing the same thing over and over again because they know that it works.
Rob Thomas is no slouch when it comes to putting his and his show's integrity before anything else... in my mind he sees that his title as creator of the show is more about being creative with it, not just creating it....
so yeah, it was a rather 'low-key' episode... it had a lot to do and took some interesing roads to get there... it wasn't a perfect episode... but it took some chances... and that put the biggest smile on my face...

i didn't like the theme song..... AT ALL.... but i normally skip thru themes anyway, so that wont really bother me
as for the episode... it was familiar, yet different all at the same time... i was just struggling to rem the plot of the previous season.....
i really enjoy the show tho....

It was ok. Although the experiment they conducted in sociology wasn't actually a sociology related experement, it was a classic social psychology experiment (yes, there is a difference). The whole thing was a little dodgy.
Also, the guy who shot Kendall for the money, was that the guy who Keith picked up from jail and was driving to see her? Or was it someone who hired Vinnie to track them?

I have to say that last season (2) sucked so badly I had to force myself to watch it. This season is soooo much better and sees Veronica reaching the heights of sassiness of Season 1 (also excellent).
I'm also enjoying the frakking BSG references. A bit risky as it could have come off nerdy but very nicely done.
Cute cheerleader outfits like she wore in S3E03 don't hurt either ;-)

I know, I swear that I have seen that EXACT plot somewhere before, though I can't remeber where, I'm not even sure it was VM that I saw it on. At least I no longer think I'm insane.

Unfortunately I think I’m pretty close to giving up on Veronica Mars now. It's not the same show anymore. Very disappointing.
