Re: SGA 5x19-20
Thanks for the nice intel
Re: SGA 5x19-20
i thought vegas was pretty good, was different, the last one could have been better though
Re: SGA 5x19-20
I liked it! Perhaps it could have been a double, but still... a worthy ending to a nice show.. now I just can't wait for Universe...!
Behold the Golden Gate Bridge
Re: SGA 5x19-20
The last two eps seemed like the rest of the season, the writers had pretty much given up and all the new good ideas (hopefully) are being saved for the new show SG: Universe.
They weren't terrible, but to finish a 5 year series with these eps was a bit disappointing.
As to the quality of the preair.... I'd say 90% done, they flash up TEMP VFX in the last ep a few times, still very watchable and doesn't detract from the show, like the Arc of Truth preair at all.
Re: SGA 5x19-20
19th was fine. 20th was a huge disappointment. It should've been a double. Felt like Uwe Boll was directing it. They crammed way too much into too little time. No suspense whatsoever.
Re: SGA 5x19-20
Last episode had alot of action, that was the ONLY good element to it.
The plot was quite frankly abysmal. No Suspense, dozens of plot holes and out of nowhere they seemed to just conjure up dozens of irrational excuses for what was happening to suit thier needs.
However, thats obviously because it was cancelled, so they just rushed this episode to put an end to the series.
Very big shame.
Re: SGA 5x19-20
Well I don't know what drugs everyone else is on but I loved the last episode
Up the mighty Fords and the Mighty Storm!!
<By the way that is my car hehehehehehe
Re: SGA 5x19-20
5x20 was no good for a end-of-the-season episode.
It was a disaster considering that was the last episode of the show. Flawed plot, not so good effects...
Re: SGA 5x19-20
There are to many canned shows that ends with a cliffhanger... and it sucks so much, so when a cancelled show actually ends with an ending, I like it....
Re: SGA 5x19-20
Re: SGA 5x19-20
yeah its true bout the worm drive, and stupid to invent it, cus now, how could the crew in universe be stranded
Re: SGA 5x19-20
They'll find a way... also, I'm sure the trip depleted all the ZPMs..
Re: SGA 5x19-20
I'm going to guess the crew in universe left pre- this episode..... possibly the oddysey..and with that being said...even if they invented it, if they are lost and out of com range they could be anywhere...and like billy bob thornton said in armagedon "it's a big ass sky" they could be anywhere and with no coordinates to figure out where they are(even roughly)..could still lead to where the hell are they plots even with the worm drive.
Re: SGA 5x19-20
Wormhole drive was absolutely pathetic. How did a russian scientist go from not being able to create efficient nuclear fusion on earth to being able to create and implement instantaneous travel to anywhere in the universe in litterally 5 minutes, even though, as he explained himself, the maths was incredibly complicated.
I love how we find stuff that the ANCIENTS themselves could not get to work, probly experimenting for many years, with dozens of minds on the job, but our 2 scientists manage to do it in a couple of minutes, lovely jubly.
Re: SGA 5x19-20
But Rodney had worked on it for a long time...
Re: SGA 5x19-20
I don't think the Worm Drive works safely. That's what they can't get to work correctly. But still is was amazingly quick how they adapted the engines or whatever, and considering they'd just dropped out of Hyperspace...
And I don't think the Universe crew have left yet... And if they have they wouldn't use the Odyssey as Universe is based on a ship.
Re: SGA 5x19-20
But Rodney had worked on it for a long time...
They say that about absolutely everything......
Wormhole drive..... it even sounds stupid!

ancients were working on it, that doesn't mean they could get it to work. they abandoned a lot of their science works for other things- they were busy fighting the wraith and replicators.
probably it wasn't just a few minutes. i thought it was more like a few hours.
and radek isn't russian! he's czech, can't you see the flag on his arm?
Re: SGA 5x19-20

the "Destiny" is on a pre-programmed tour of the wormholes seeded by the Ancients... so presumably there is no control over the ship whatsover or else it's too easy to devise scenarios where that is not the be-all end-all of it... and honestly it's a wafer thin plot to be hanging your show on, so one assumes there's more to it than that... i hope...
Re: SGA 5x19-20
uhh...last 2 episodes were awesome. 19th had just like the best music ever on sci-fi shows. thirst when i watched 19th it really didn't make sense, but after seeing last episode every piece fell into its place. and imo the wormhole drive is an excellent idea. think...with the enough power you can move a whole planet to a new location. kickass idea.
but i sure hope its not the end of Atlantis expedition. because there is still wraith in pegasus galaxy, and not to mention few renegade replicators. hopefuly few last movies will clarify it.
