WOW, just utter crap!
They should be ashamed of themselves.
Two episodes were tolerable...barely.
This garbage is NOT Star Trek.

honestly we only got two and a half good seasons out of 4 so far.
the last year could go either way when they only have to do a few shows.
they may not want to go out as a joke for their epitaph

but its already in the can so....

pirates were the first democratic organizations in the new world
and the first organizations where women could lead men

That's where my mind is.  They shot 16 episodes in one block.  Aired as two seasons, but shot all in one go.
I would be absolutely freaking stunned if the back six took some dramatic course change.

But… Trekkers are nothing if not optimistic. They did make all new TOS themed costumes for all the major players.  **AND** we know they cast Dr. McCoy and Mr. Sulu, who were not seen in s04e10.

So…  Personally I want to hold out a thin hope that the last 6 will take place 1 year from s04e10 since it will be an actual year later when aired - with s05e01 being the hand-over to Kirk and the next 6 being actual fkng Star Trek.

I have only watched eps 1 so far, I get the impression this really a 2 eps season 1 then jump to 10?

I'd suggest you go with 1, 2, 6, 8 and 10.

Good list, except you could save some time and probably skip eps 8 and 6, maybe 10  as well as 2 and 1

Saying they would have to come up with something good to get him to consider it was a really classy response.
He didn't have to say "you write shit shows".  He didn't have to be negative in any way.  While still knowing they are incapable.  He comes off good while still turning them down.

Sadly, I have to agree. Only episodes 6 (Off Hour) and 8 (Orders of Magnitude) felt like Star Trek episodes, and I'd rate those two no higher than "Okay". After the earlier seasons being as good as they were, this season has been a huge disappointment tbh.

I hope they can redeem themselves in the next season, but I'm not very optimistic about it. I feel like "punched the dinosaur" is Star Trek's version of "jumped the shark".
