A thrilling and cinematic reimagining of the Batman mythology, evocative of the character's noir roots.

The setting and animation (of the background) really gives you a feeling of nostalgia here.
It feels and looks like "Batman: The Animated Series" from 1992.

The characters however were changed a lot. Not only their looks but strangely also their occupations for some reason.

Let's see where this is going (2 Episodes in so far). I so start wondering if Batman is actually the MC of the show..

Batmans eyes look weird to me....looks like he is wearing eye shadow. For all other characters they look like regular eyelashes, but with him it's just weird.

Penguin as a woman...fine enough in animation. Imagine which actress would wanna play that role in Live-Action, the nose alone would probably be a no-go.

Barbara Gordon is a lawyer.
Alfred is on the heavier side.
Lucius Fox is Batmans lawyer.

not a horrible batman rehash.
it tries to go back to the origins of batman
or how someone thinks batman looked and felt in
the early days.
its a attempt at a bit gothic batman, tires to be artistic
not black and white, but wishes it could.

colors are a little off i think.

stories are the usual batman rehash
but with a few small changes to keep things a bit fresh.
really could use a total remake on everything. honestly.


but all and all its not horrible for those who have been here before.
and not a horrible introduction to batman.

other then "the worlds greatest detective" never does any visible "detecting" of anything.

pirates were the first democratic organizations in the new world
and the first organizations where women could lead men
