Re: Lucky (2026)

First episode was good. Like the characters and the story.
Some good chase-scenes and the writing is decent enough.

Always good to see Timothy Olyphant. Anya Taylor-Joy is also doing a good job.

Let's see where this is going smile

Re: Lucky (2026)

Watched the first two episodes, not bad, not counting total cringe FBI agents.

Re: Lucky (2026)

I'm all caught up on Lucky, so far so good, I like it, although a simple FBI vs. Thief, Cat vs. Mouse, story, always a step ahead/behind, always chasing each other, has a push/pull energy to the storytelling.  Interested to see how it ends.

1x06

Die they really...

Spoiler

propose the hotel they are staying at as an exchange site and when it was denied just stayed there?
What's even worse they had Lucky get into a car with an FBI agent right infront of the hotel?

Did they not even consider that Whitaker might send someone to check it out?

The FBI in this show is really the bottom of the barrell apparently.

I couldn’t get through the first episode.

Re: Lucky (2026)

1x07 - All Good Things, I didn't realize this was a miniseries, felt a bit too TV to be a Miniseries especially since it all ended a lot too convenient.

Spoiler

Fichtner gave Priscilla the gun!? then started monologuing? 🤣 So stupid. Of course she was going to kill him and everyone there. Classic dumb villain ending.  I enjoyed how Lucky figured everyone out, that Kershaw was corrupt because they were on site too fast so Fichtner must've had a man on the inside, and very sad how she knew her dad would take the money and run and leave her.  Horrible life. Very sad.

Re: Lucky (2026)

After the ending I kinda think that Timothy Olyphant was miscast in that role.
Doesn't fit to his usual roles at all.

Overal it was good - 7/10.

Re: Lucky (2026)

@WilliamDrakeMcGregor - You know what's funny Bill, I've always thought of Timothy Olyphant as an f'ing douchebag due to his early work in film so to me, he's perfectly typecast in this miniseries.  lol
