In Midnight Mass, an isolated island community experiences miraculous events - and frightening omens - after the arrival of a charismatic, mysterious young priest.

the show is above average in its writing, but it is very predicable in just about everything.
it telegraphs just about everything. not one new thing.
it is very polished.
its an old story told many times with only a few variations.
its done pretty well in what it does, but
its really just a same old story once again.

worth watching. but its muted, it had not caught my full attention. there is no drive to watch the next episode,
its more a matter of "its better then anything else right now, but not "great" in of itself"

i am on s01e4 so far, i expect there will be some twist before it ends.
its the way they do things now...

and the first organizations where women could lead men

Re: Midnight Mass

I'd give it, say, 3.5 stars. I liked it enough that I'm glad I watched it, but I wouldn't watch it again and wasn't upset that it ended.

nothing worse then investing time into a huge disappointment.
