Topic: TV Time Import Errors - Confirmed Missing Shows/Missing TVDB Links

Credit to you! Have imported a large DB of movies and shows tracked via TV Time, and almost all have imported painlessly and correctly. Below are the few exceptions. Apologies if there's something I've missed/if this is the wrong location to post.

Found manually when searching on NE, but appear to be missing TVDB link/ID:

  • BREAKING the DEADLOCK (TVDB 469615, ....com/series/breaking-the-deadlock)

  • Gold Rush: Parker's Trail (TVDB 379221, ....com/series/gold-rush-parkers-trail)

  • The Continental (2023) (TVDB 414734, ....com/series/the-continental)

Not found at all when searching on NE but confirmed to be on TVDB:

  • Gold Rush: South America (TVDB 308217, ....com/series/gold-rush-south-america)

  • Planet Earth: The Future (TVDB 122191, ....com/series/planet-earth-the-future)

  • Penn & Teller's Magic & Mystery Tour (TVDB 124841, ....com/series/penn-and-tellers-magic-and-mystery-tour)

  • The First Olympics: Athens 1896 (TVDB 259743, ....com/series/the-first-olympics-athens-1896)

  • Paddington (TVDB 82747, ....com/series/paddington-bear)

  • Unprotected Sets (TVDB 384565, ....com/series/unprotected-sets)

Hey there and thanks for reporting this.

I've fixed 2 of the 3 shows with missing TVDB link (The Continental already had the same tvdb id as we do).

As I want to investigate what happened and why didn't The Continental import properly - can you please send your ZIP file export to [email protected] so I can dig into what happened and fix it?

Ok, will add those to the 'request missing list'.

Can save you the trouble re: The Continental.  Confident the issue was that it had a different TVDB ID in the export that used to map correctly in the past. TV Time must have kept the old ID when they updated the title/year. If you need it, the now defunct reference was originally "The Continental (2021)", with a TVDB: 369062.

P.S. Another exception was "Metropolis (2023)", formerly with a TVDB: 417325. Was a UCP/AppleTV+ show in development, but it was ultimately axed to cut costs before airing (around the time of the writer's strike, etc.).

Got it, makes sense and glad the problem was in TVTime's data (and not the import mechanism).
