Scorpius,I see that there is a page for the series on this site, but it reports the series was cancelled. It was not cancelled. The 3rd season of new episodes starts again on October 30 on Prime as reported above and on the website of the series I linked above.
I posted this here because I see no other way to communicate with the webmaster of this site to update the page that you linked, scorpius.  If I have overlooked the method on that page to do so, please tell me and I will do so.

No problem, it's all good. I believe you may have to go a topic called Site Comments/Suggestions for such requests. I checked thetvdb.com and they also don't have season 3 listed yet. TVmaze, the same thing. IMDB has the third season listed but they seem to be clueless on the October 30th premiere date.

Thanks, Scorpius, for the excellent explanation.
Its been about a week since the return schedule was posted to the Brokenwood website and FB.
It's a NZ show. They often have their own way of doing things;^)
I just sent a PM to santah about it.

Going to work my way through all these ffs.

Dont get lulled by the dopily laconic kiwi ecksent here; these episodes are meticulously crafted. 90 mins dialogue heavy. In fact they'd work great as a radio show when you've got the telly on but yer pottering around in the background just listening.

11 seasons but only 4 eps a season. Although at 90 mins a pop they're basically 4 films a year

First 6 seasons were 4 episodes, season 7 onwards are 6 episodes
