After the Clone Wars, Maul plots to rebuild his criminal syndicate on a planet untouched by the Empire.

Well, the next Star Wars show is about to drop - 3 weeks to go smile

Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord - Official Trailer

I always thought that Clone Wars + Rebels overdid it with Maul but ever since George Lucas said that he had big plans for the character I see him in a new light.
Let's just hope this is closer to the before mentioned shows (and Tales of the Jedi) than to Ahsoka.

Deserved more runtime:
Abbys | Dead Like Me | Devs | Firefly | Gangsta. | Jack of all Trades | Kevin (probably) saves the World | Lodge 49 | Mrs. Davis | NYC 22 | Powerless | Roadkill | Special Unit 2 | Stumptown | Surface | The Brave | The Crazy Ones | The Finder | The Middleman | Truth Seekers | Two Weeks to Live | Whiskey Cavalier

Re: Star Wars: Maul - Shadow Lord

i thought it was a bad idea to kill him off in the cartoon.

other then the silly legs, he had the best story as an anti hero
who is still a villain that could be hunting and killing other villains.

i will wait and withhold any judgements until the season drops..

disney has really beat a lot of dead horses and  dressed them up with lipstick lately.

Has anyone watched this and can confirm whether it’s appropriate for a 9 year old?

Only the first episode so far.

I'd say it has the same level of appropriateness than Clone Wars and Rebels.
The tone is more serious - again, nothing we haven't seen before - and the battles have the same level blaster fire and violence. Also couldn't detect any cursing.

So if your 9 year old can handle the darker episodes of those two shows, it should be ok.

Apart from that, story & characters seem ok. Will have to watch more to see if it's really good.

Spoiler

Jedi Master "Lizard" seems a lot more interesting than any other character, even Maul - I hope to see more from him.

Thank you buddy. Unfortunately he hasn’t yet seen anything in the Star Wars universe at all.
I was thinking of starting him on this.
