A dreamer and mother has no choice but to accept help from local rancher and confirmed bachelor who may compel her to put down roots and make a fresh start in the late 1800s of Hope Valley.

After the pretty dark (but probably more realistic) representations of the late 1900s like 1883 and American Primeval, this is a refreshingly harmless depiction of that time period.

I like it! It's a great show to balance out the intensity of other shows I watch and a good way to just lay back and relax.
Good cast - haven't seen Jill Hennessy on-screen since Crossing Jordan smile

Kinda reminds me of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman smile  and apparently a Prequel-Series to When Calls the Heart which I haven't watched (yet).
