Topic: Ted (2024)

In this comedic prequel event series to the Ted films, it’s 1993, and Ted the bear’s moment of fame has passed. He’s now living back home in Framingham, Massachusetts with his best friend, 16-year-old John Bennett, along with John’s parents, Matty and Susan and cousin Blaire. Ted may be a lousy influence on John, but at the end of the day, he’s a loyal pal who’s always willing to go out on a limb for friendship.

Daemons are benevolent or benign nature spirits, beings of the same nature as both mortals and gods, similar to ghosts, chthonic heroes, spirit guides, forces of nature or the gods themselves.

Episode 1 was as good as expected. If you liked the movies and like Seth's humor - you'll propably like this.

Totally agree. If you like Family Guy you'll like this.

Re: Ted (2024)
Was expecting it to be worse than it actually was. Lame jokes mixed with edgy jokes at the right time, makes it good tv show for Family Guy enjoyers

Re: Ted (2024)
I just watched the first episode... was literally laughing out loud! (could be because of the herb that was in my system, but was really really funny)

Re: Ted (2024)
It looks extremely like Series 2 ends Ted as the final episode mentions the films in a sort of "this is what happens next" way. Adding to this the fact that they almost didn't get this series owing to the expensive budget and it looks like Ted's done. This series was definitely worthwhile having as a way of linking all Ted stuff together

If I remeber correctly, there might be an animated series next.

Re: Ted (2024)
I guess that Seth MacFarlane wrote thee series without a definite continuation. After all many of his shows get cancelled (and often return). The way it ends leaves continuation optional I guess. As for an animated series ... it's already Animated (unless Seth REALLY has a magical bear on cast) - presumably that's where a good chunk of the $8M episode budget goes. I guess they potentially want e.g. some Rick & Morty / South Park competition

So sad this was canceled. It was a guilty pleasure that will be sorely missed.

Re: Ted (2024)
This show was fantastic! Real laugh out loud moments. Loved it. It was cancelled due to the high costs of creating the Ted character. Im going to re-watch the movies
