Topic: Blue Murder Motel

I really hope this isn't being touted as a replacement for Brokenwood Mysteries, it shows promise as a series in it's own right but needs a bit more time for character development...and some better crimes to solve. Main problem is the stories take too long to develop resulting in a quick result for little actual detective work.

ffs these shows and the NZ rugby broadcasts are my last tenuous connections to the old mothership....

Although somehow Brokenwood drove me a bit mad. 90 min episodes of convoluted whodunnit, each ep is basically a movie in itself. Sort of cried off after a while even though I was sort of enjoying it...
